I'd take any response with a grain of salt...as for the Sandbox start, known of us know for sure...it could be today, tomorrow or 3 months from now...We do know that things are up and running, but testing, for any reason, is not quite ready for us....
I'm hoping that some type of upcoming announcement might shed light on what we should expect...Personally I still think, even with all the past delays, testing could start anytime. Currently I believe it's an over-caution that is keeping us off the Sandbox.
I will say this though...from what I've heard, the house is built, we just haven't been given the keys yet...the reason why, we just don't know yet...it's likely that a few more things are just being ironed out (putting on another coat of paint) before we take up residence.

The house is built on an ancient indian burial ground and is haunted.... Really don't know what relavence that has, I just wanted to say it.
The walls are bleeding and the npc's are eating people.
If this is true we should the the first ones in there to burn them all. In fact they should send all of in there now just to be sure.

As for the date, I heard the heard the CU was being published this month, but you know how rumors are. Apparently more than one person has heard this...So is it Sandbox this month and 3 months (or more) before it goes live for the rest of us? That would put it right at June '05 on the Live servers. Exactly what I estimated before. Let's hope it comes quicker...PLEEEEEAAAZZZE!
we literally have no idea when the Sandbox and the testing will begin.

The 2 year anniversary is June 26-28, 2005. Those who tried to join on the first possible day (june 26) will remember . . . For the first day it was almost impossible to login. They had tremendous login server problems and game everyone a free day. Then everyone tried logging in on the 27th and 28th . . . Ahhhh,gedbut once you logged in to that virgin territory, it was wonderful. EVERYTHING WAS NEW, noone had armor or anything better than a cdef pistol. Vehicles and player cities did not exist . . . and everything was new content. /sniff
