There is one thing that is always hit, when inside the blastrange of a grenade. Me.
yea, my question is.. how does a grenade (that explodes ) miss...a durni...2 inches away from it?
The second half of this question is really, How does a grenade that explodes miss a durni 2 inches away from it BUT hits the commando that threw it 12m away?

yup run of the mill consumables miss a lot...but my rocketlaunchers had 70+ accuracy @ideal, my HPBC had 90+@ ideal and didn't miss nearly as much...
it just takes a lot more effort to make commando weapons work...
and fyi, biggest blast radius is on protons, 10m not 25 or 30

wELL...where to start? Yes, work with FT, but as a Novice, I would advise using Launcher Pistol for a better attack speed and accuracy until Flame III. At Master, it's nice, but we all know still slower than everyone else's attacks. It's kinda backwards though, you meant to say: Flamethrower and Acid Rifle nerfed and all others better. Yes, it's true, your disposable weapons have better speed and accuracy at Master than FT and AR. Why? Economy. They probably intended us to keep the Weaponsmiths in business by continually buying disposable weapons from them, but alas, no one makes them! At least not on my server. No one uses them because of their low charges, lack of powerups, and ineffectiveness for starting Commandos, so no one makes them.
My best advice: use LP to start, pick up some Pistoleer skills, like Pistol Stances and combo with TKA. After Flame III, get a good flame thrower and use it exclusively. Don't mess with grenades, they're cool, but no one makes those either (on my server) and you take damage from your own grenades. If this is fixed, it will be very cool. At Master Level, drop the FT and go with disposables. That's how it's designed. You get more damage, better speed, and better accuracy...if you know a Weaponsmith you can keep making 'em for you.
PREFERRED:
Get a factory, and manufacturing schematics. Turn out your own crates of disposables and grenades and stockiple them. 'cause they're impossible to find. Read the "Top Issues" and play Commando with you eyes open. It's supposed to get pretty cool, 'tis the rumor.

Thanks for all your comments. Think I figured out whyI don't take damage with grenades; I'm a wookiee! No armor or damage to the feet! Got a good Launcher pistol and works well, usually one flamesingle1/cone1 then switch to launcher. I'm having a blast with this. TKA is secondary prof for tanking but unarmed xp comes so slowly before novice TKA.
