picked up a new flamer, not the best speed but since i just hit master commando speed isnt my 1st concern (not getting squashed by whatever i'm fighting is )

got it free too, gotta love those generous peoples you find occasioanlly, incidently if anyone on chimeara's looking for a half-decent flamer (spd 4.6 max 1006 *cant remember min sorry* but condition isnt too hot, around 50%) i'd be willing to give her away,just /tell Galak, she served me well (got me from novice commando to 3/3/4/3) and needs a good home

Bought 4 flamers with 4.8 speed with the intention of getting them sliced and hoping it came out for speed...

One is now 3.4 with standard max damage of 800 something...the others are ok and im selling on.

Still got the option of a Krayt thrower but 3m+ is too much, so will look for my own krayt stuff.

Being that im a master smuggler when i dont burn chit....I went ape chit... (46 slices later these are the best)

this is just a comparision i know, but for anyone interested in making really good stuff, ask any smithy you know to make you ALOT of flamers that are really good pre-slice and either slice them yourself or have some one you trust do it for you. Because slicing is random (though ithink its partly based on quality of materials used for the item (not the slicing tools) the only way to get UBER slices is to slice ALOT of them, i.e. why i bought 46 flamers at 980,000 credits for them all.

another side note, to anyone who hasn't noticed yet, speed is the uber stat for a flamer. the damage for a *speical* is not that much lower reguardless of the damage of the flamer, i.e. flamesingel2 isn't *noticably* more powerfull with a flamer whos damage is ~600-1100 over a damage of ~400-800.
