Heh with the jedi...last night in Theed, I saw an overt Imp...and a Master force user...


All the imp could do was run....I didnt see exactly how many saber hits he took, but through the starport walls, I saw a number that was around 1716 damage....if im not mistaken..thats pretty good damage...


I see alot of the jedi that are complaining they arent doing enough damage in PvP as 1's who want to have 1 hit specials (remember all those ppl who blamed us for wanting that?)...and to be totally unbeatable. Atm the low lvl jedi are easy to some certain templates (mainly melee....one of my friends has beaten 1-2 of the new jedi)...yeah jedi -should- be possible to beat as well...but heh its also harder now cuz you see padawans with TKM...but once they reach Jedi Knight lol forget about it... :/


Im just blabbering on lol...also on our gernades....heh....ill never forget garvin's duel with A'nita....1 shot, 1 gernade, 1 self-incap...


Also in balancing spamming of KD gernades.....just have it like the new CM changes were the min throw delay has been extended (which should stop spamming)

great ideas from the original poster, I am not sure why the KD or any state effect wouldbe an issue.If the timer is based on the recipient, and not the weapon, then it could work. After a state effect is landed (regardless if the source) a temporary invulnerability to KDis given to the victim until the timer expires (x seconds to be affected, and a y secodns for invulnerability to that specific state after the state is removed or expires). Apply this globally, then no profession can spam any state effect until the timer has expired, and all state effects should have a 15 second timer (time of course can be changed) before after the previous one expires before it can be reapplied.

Trick with KD's is that if you succeed in KDing a target, the next KD will undo the first one, making them stand up.

Hellshot, great post! I REALLY liked your HAR idea. It would be better than the current FT clone and very useful depending on the situation. As of now, I have NEVER used a HAR, but would love to if it actually was helpful... It's a neat weapon concept IMO

Id like to see someone take a fireball to the chest and stand after it explodes, or even stand after you get hit with a supposedly mini rocket pistol would be nice to knock down a TKM for once
