But what I will say is that I talked A LOT with one of the chief people responsible for the Revamp...and when asked what he thought of Commandos, he said "3 Broken trees, one working one that doesn't work like we hoped...Grenades need serious work and the HAR is completely useles...."
A dev said that?

Garvin: sounds like youre kickin' A$$ in the meetings. but if it comes down to it...

also, as long as youre there, ask why the DEVS never come on the forums anymore?

friday means friday feature. if they have a shred of integrity left, that means a blurb about the combat rebalance. and if they dont put it out.... i guess next friday meant friday next year, and we have more fuel for the fire.

Noooo!!! See Garvin I was all set to drop commando completly and become a stacker so I could be come more of a player then a lump of FLames. I did not know if you could tell us enough to make me stay. But you did!
But... your like only showing us the candy so we drool *pouts* Cant wait for you to actualy tell us something good that they say you can tell us!

Hang in there Bro! There's a lot he CAN'T tell us...it's an NDA thing.
I've Beta tested and worked with many Gaming Companies. When you reach an inside position, you have to agree to a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), which protects concepts, ideas, and testing from the general public (To make the descions, mistakes, and final product professional looking once it's presented). Once you agree to that, you are legally bound to adhir to it.
I KNOW Garvin is bound by that. I aslo know that he'll leak what he can legally. The "Fantastic Five" will be bound by this as well...but we will get tidbits here and there. Keep the Faith Skeptic666!

Also good to hear that a dev acknolowedges what the players think...
And for the NDA...yeah it sucks...

Hey, thanks for responding Garvin. Glad to see that the Devs realize that we need some serious luving...
But what about THE Motto? Which one did you choose? Can you disclose that?

Yeah, i feel the same way, Garvin gives me hope in the commando profession, now if we could clone him and put him in the pistolleer profession.

It's more of an issue of..If I reveal something and they decide to go another route, will folks be pissed at SOE...so they don't let us report facts until they are sure that it's "in stone"...Although you are correct...A requirement of becoming at Correspondent is signing a NDA...
That of course doesn't mean I can't drop hints **cough** close range defenses ** cough....LOL

I like useing my flamethrower but it sort of seems like they are trying to hint that it shouldnt be used often with a large portion of med to high difficulty creatures having maxed resist to flamethrowers and such. I even seen a few creatures that is resistant to every single one of the weapons the commando has to use. Its never a fun fight trying to take one of those creatures out. Time only tells but seems like when father time filled up the hour glass he put the wrong size of sand in so time moves slower.
