are you guys saying LP doesn't use specials? Last I checked you can use all the ones you got from the marksman pistol tree. Havn't gone into pistoleer at all but my guess would be you could use those too. There are no specials given from the commando tree, i think thats what you were trying to get across.

I USED TO take Defense Stacker 2....do you?

The launch pistol can use pistol skills and mods like healthshot and bodyshot and so on. Well i havent played for a month due to isp issues so i dont know if there's been another nerf (if there has been another nerf then i have undeniable proof that satan exists!or that god dosent like star wars lol)As a flat novice commando (really close to getting flame one, YAY!)I need the launcher pistol to use my pistol skills, please tell me they didnt take that away!

i am novice commano now leveling with my LP:

the LP does use the pistol health shot I,II, and body shot.

i am not 100% sure of this, but it also seems to use overcharge shot, as does the FT.

i took out 2 bol lairs today, i killed the bols with the LP, and when i used overshot, the damage in the combat window was tripled.

i then killed the lair with the FT, for some reason when killing the lair i dont miss with the FT (cause it stationary??) , when shooting at mobs i miss everytime. anyway, i tried overshot with the FT also, and got around 3500 damage in the combat tab. without OS i was getting about 8-900.

this is fact as of today. i still only have novice, about 30k xp from flame I.

hmm, but why am i doing this? i really dunno. somehting about the word commando i guess :0)

I spent some time on the Pistoleer tree 0-0-3-1 to get Body Shot2, Stopping Shot and PistolMelee1 (KD), then used the LP with those specials to get to Flame2. Once you get to that point, it makes sense to use the FT exclusively, since the accuracy modifiers let you hit often enough.

Once you get Single2, you can do massive PvE damage (I get 12k regularly). The last time i went hunting with a group, I had to put away the FT because I was 1 shotting everything in sight.

When the dev's fix the other trees, I'll try them out, but right now it just seems too frustrating.
