While i see this as something we can ask for, remember that part of the new game is that not every profession has every advantage...maybe we aren't meant to have "cold" since commandos are HOT!!!!

All of our grenades are kinetic dmg, some have heat DoTs, some have blind/KD state effects. Cyrobans are kinetic unfortunately (confirmed it today) but they slow down folks by 20%.
So I guess we don't have cold damage now =/
It's not really a crisis if we don't have one, I just thought I remembered Helios saying that Commandos niche was that it would have access to damage of all types.

Ah yes the good old shower head and attached plumbing rifle, one of the funniest looking rifle's ever.

Cold would be an element type not a "damage" type. I need to check if it has an elemental damage property. It can still be kenetic and have cold damage.

Elemental is still damage
Theres base and then elemental damage, all our grenades do only a base - but each have a special effect; probably why they don't have elemental damage.

But in a way the slow down is cool too... ofcources this needs testing.. but if it means running speed, terran negotiation.. and weapon fire speed slow down... that is what i call a frezzing effect, hehe i.e cold
so the elemental dmg on this grenade is a "sort" of dot.. but one that slows down, not one that does dmg... the same can be said for the two "heat" dot greandes (thermal and proton i believe) where they lack elemental dmg.. they get a dot effect.
If cryros work as i hoping... they maybe become one of the most important weapons in our "arsenal" (because face it use... we have an arsenal at our disposal.. and they all seemto work/show promise of working
)
