i was honestly hoping for a unique heavy weapon to go in the master box of commando. something to set the master apart from the dabblers ya know? like in the .tre files that underslung carbine, or some sort of machine gun type weapon. but i do like the changes in the CU, all the new weapons are fantastic.
My favorite of the new weapons is the intimidator pistol, its so cool i might have to drop carbines and go with master SL, master commando and some carbine on the side!
Where DID that go?

I'm was rather surprised to see the Massassi Knucklers go to Commandoes rather than TK (and a little disappointed). Though it would at least give the Commoandoes a cookie for having to take Unarmed.
I was glad they got it, made sense seeing as they had to take up unarmed.

Plus, who knows...we don't know exactly where that DPS figure came from. It could just be using the most basic ranged attack?
Our weapons may be able to enhance specials to a point, where they'll be higher than that DPS figure...
Today...
...The DPS listed in any of the weapon descriptions is just an estimate of the raw average damage divided by the weapon speed. The final DPS output of any player will be determined by a much wider variety of factors such as special move multipliers, accuracy& skill mods, etc, etc. Of course the actual damage being done will also be modified by the skill mods and armor ratings of the opponent.

It's hard to say yet...we can see the DPS is comparable and many of our weapons now add "status" effects to their attacks or, like the FT, adds a DoT and converts the attack into an AOE. If we get the Massassi Rifle, we'll have a more powerful rifle then even the T-21.

it seems our heavy weapons dont really do that much damage compaired to some rifles carbines ect.
yeah T_T but then again those stats are a bit iffy yet. Glad to see commandos get the gun if they doget it (though I would still prefer it in my tree... ). It would addsome pep and a reason for rifleman to cross with commandos. (A BIG REASON!).

The underslung carbine would be the coolest commando carbine ever. I dont even think they ended up putting it in

Guys, we should all know better than to think that a class that is KNOWN FOR USING CARBINES, in fact developed for using carbines effectively , would get to use a carbine. I mean come on now, just because every single piece of star wars information that in any way shape or form every references commandos clearly indicates that commandos use carbines, doesn't mean that SOE will give them too us.
