You would need about 9 identicallly serialed numbered shards to be able to use them in a Rocket launcher. Since the RL's take 8 identical projectile feed mechs, it would pose a major problem getting that many. Personally I've only heard about people only getting one or two at the most.
I've seen 9, but i agree Gorax bones are not best used in RL. better use them in Striker Pistols so us commandoes can use a kinetic damage weapon.

I'm not saying that it would be the "best" use for gorax shards
. I was simply curious if it had ever been done.

Probably not for the same reason no one has probably ever made a krayt HAR, its just a waste of resources that could go to better uses.

I also had a krayted HAR made up, just for the rare (ie. never!) occasionswhere something has high heat but low acid resists. Also already have about 8 krayt flamers so I figured what the heck!!
Regarding rocket launchers, I don't know much about the crafting process, but understand they need proton grenades, is this right?
If so, is it possible to slice and powerup the grenades first to result in a higher damage weapon? And if this did work wouldit be considered an exploit? Apologies if these are total newb questions but don't really have a clue about how they are made and was curious when I heard they involved protons....

i'll ask my guild weaponsmith to make a stack. I dunna maybe it will. interesting question. is it an exploit? That's a sticky question. now you don't have to do anything weird to do it. but then again, who knows. I know that I used so many rockets launchers, and they are so time consuming to make, that my guild weaponsmith would strangle me if I asked her to do this on anything but a once on a blue moon bases.

I would guess that you need crated identical grenades in the crafting process, but thats just a guess.
