If you get a speed slice on that it'll be godly. Should be firing FS2 every 4 seconds.

That's not quite how it works. Every 10 speed you get reduces the delay between shots by a factor of 0.1. The maths is all on here: http://killyourpc.org/swg/speedguide.html

To make a long story short, it's not possible to ever hit the speed cap on Flamer specials. Unless you have a 0.4 speed FT. Yes, I said 0.4. So always hope for a speed slice on your FT.

Speed Mods go like this: Say you speed mod is 10. So its .10 x 3.3 (The speed of the gun)= .33 Thats howmuch your speed is reduced so you need a 100 speed to cap at 1.

It is but the cap is at 1. Think about this, for every +10 flamethrower speed you get it deducts 0.1 speed of your shot. So if you have +30 Flamethrower speed, and your gun is 3.3 you have the equivalent of a 3.0 gun. There is not enough Flamethrower speed availble on the skill tree to truly max out a gun unless it is ( dont quote me on the exacts) around the 1.5 - 1.7 range. This gun could get to 2.2 with a 33% speed slice I beleive which still is not fast enough to be ultimately capped. However that is very very quick and since this already has a nice base damage, practically anything over 800s without a slice has to take Tissues, so yes this gun would be worth MILLIONS on Chilastra as well.

Well fingers crossed my new flamer will turn out at about 2.7 speed unsliced...if I can ever find a fecking WS willing to make it and it doesnt have a failure.
