hehe think a lightsabre can block the flamethrower? (yea....I bet luke would have survived being engulfed in flame and burning on the ground lol) First elite profession I get while trying to make jedi if I ever get a FS slot: smuggler....feign death would REALLY cut down on those unnecesary deaths.

Darth Vadar is made out of armor and robotics, no DUH of course they did nothing....

Jedi dissapate the heat of a flame thrower? possible, but not forever, they can't do it all day

And the armor Jengo wears, and Boba, Its called Mandalorian armor, and the people that made it and used it nearly made the Jedi EXTINCT, so don't go telling me Jedis can rape any thing........ Sure they are powerful etc, but they aren't Gods

Whos to stop a Wookie from ripping both arms off a Jedi if he jedi comes in from a swing, and then the Wookie beats the Jedi to death with his own arms, Wookies are that strong.... Hell Chewbacca has thrown Bobafett like a rag doll before..... I think the issue of Jedi is a bit out there still, sure its a hard thing to become, but I'd imagine that DEV is going to make it, a bit more powerful then most perfessions, BUT mostly just it'll be a "Sweet dude I'm Jedi" then any thing else

after all a Master Bounty Hunter with Mandalorion armor and most of the Pistol trees or carbine, would be able to take out most Jedi excluding Masters and level level 4s on 2-3 trees of Jedi, depending on if the Bounty Hunter was smart or not.... Besides what are scatter pistols for? 2 shots of those, to dodge every single little energy bolt from them.... how could you block a lighting cannon fully?

when u hit jedi master u dont get perma killed but u must hit master jedi knight or padewan can be perma killed

Once you die three times as a master you turn into a "blue glowie." So no, you don't really perma-die but you cannot play like everyone else since you are technically dead. You can walk around and that's about it.

a jedi doesn't need to block a flamethrower. a jedi can dissippate the energy

i'm not sure how it will work in game.. but it works like that in the movies.

han solo placed at least 3 blaster shots right on darth vader.. and they did nothing.

Ok, so your sayin BH's are the ones ta do it aye? Commando perhaps? I disagree. Being a Master Commando on Sunrunner i've done my fair share of shootin, lighting things on fire, and melting assorted parts of mobs anatomy. Don't forget all the other wonderful things Jedi's will be able to do.

Such as:

A) Natural and Reactive fighting prowess. (Deflecting of shots, speed moves, unreal combinations etc.)

B) Mind realated abilities. ( Mind trick, force push, pull, choke, and not least lightning)

C) A LIGHTSABRE

I know for a fact how they work. Seen a female on my server usin a sabre. And yes all you naysayers flame on. For some reason the dev's haven't anounced it. But my two lil beady eye's have seen it for the truth. I will not share her name but the TEF system is totally in effect. I was giggliing with glee. I realize i'll never be one of the lucky ones to gain it. But seeing it and knowing it's in effect has made my day. Happy Days!!!

for the love of god...Jedi are probably not even in the game yet. The devs can't even get the blade of a lightsaber in the hands of a dark jedi to appear. It looks like they punch you for 2-3k damage. You think they can get the entire class working? There may have been some in beta, but its just that. beta. But I seriously doubt the whole FS slot is ready to go. After exploring so much of the galaxy that I'm going to have to start deleting stuff from the datapad to make room for more wp's, I've seen enough broken quests and bugs to be a little doubtful. All you fs slot hounds out there can flame me all you want. I can take it. But I won't believe the fs slot is in the game and unlockable until I see "paduwan" above someone's head.

I agree...after killing 5 dark jedi masters and 3 dark jedi knights I have come to the conclusion that jedi simply have given up on the lightsabre lol...too bright for their eyes? not enough force amplification crystals? I keep stealing their mystical orbs? not sure why lol but they only use axes, and fists, and sticks....never the lightsabre. =) so hey, maybe us 'mortal' classes will have a chance hehe

the best class for pvp is combat medic poison would kill all of you pretty darn easily if you were standing close enough together.
