OK so a krayt question though. I'm inferring from a previous response that there are multiple types of krayt tissue and that if a weapon needs multiple tissue, it has to be of the same type.. Is this correct? I'm not 100% on how that works as I havne't seen anyone work w/ it yet personally.

Can't even express how much this pisses me off. Holo just made a post that they are looking to change this though. Woot!

I got a flamethrower made from Krayt Tissue, as well as one of those 500 dmg launcher pistols. I also got a scout blaster made with 315 max damage, nicest one i'ver ever seen, but anyway, the flamethrower was 5.2 speed (ouch) 442-884 dmg unsliced. Today, a master smuggler got a 35% speed slice on it so it is now 3.5 speed. It is soo choice.

I got a nice krayt used flamethrower today although it cost me 300k for it. it is sliced for speed 3.3 speed 520-910dmg and man this suker is awesome and fast. After destroying 3 ST npcs it was well worth the 300k.

Thanks R5. I just came back to ask this question. Not to fear though, I came loaded with a back-up.

Do you get one off of every Kryat you drop or is it random? and does it matter what type Kryat (the are types right?)?

To the question about drops, this is what my crew has looted so far.

Krayt Tissue - dmg,attack speed

Krayt Composite Armor segment - used for base resists and integrity

Krayt Dragon Scale - provides various resistances, ie: cold 4%, heat 4%, etc

The mods they provide are based on what was seen when they was examined. From our short experience (we killed 6 this past sunday) the canyon krayts drops tissue, the juveniles don't. It could have just been our luck but out of the 6, 4 were juveniles and their were no tissue dropped, just the other components. Tissue came from the Canyon grown versions. We are starting to hunt them every sunday so hopefully will have more news and update on the commando weapons and armor that will be made from the loot.

I was getting real excited as I read this thread and already planning my next Krayt Dragon hunt so that I can get me a kickbutt LP as well...the stats on some of the Krayt LP's are great!!! However as I got further into this thread and started reading some that had Krayt Flamethrowers and paid mucho money for them...wow you guys got screwed! I currently have 3 FT's on flurry server that dmg is over 1k w/3.6 speed SLICED and I paid only 20k each for them and NO KRAYT TISSUE....I can buy ones just like you guys are describing for around 12k each and none of the flamethrowers have Krayt tissue in them, they are straight from the weaponsmiths with those stats???? You guys sure the Krayt tissue is giving any great bonuses on the FT's??? Or is it a waste of Krayt tissue on the FT's? I can definately see the diff. on the launcher pistols but not on the flamethrowers.

Normal loot. 1 person or rather the 1st person to it grabs the loot so beware claim jumpers, haha
