I like it alot....

Hurrah for this. Top idea.

Good idea for realism pertaining to owning a droid and dealing with fire. I think it would knock the game out of balance though. Every single pvper in his or her datapad would have as many R2 units with fire extinguishers as they could hold. I only seem to remember R2 having a fire extinguisher unit on him, not any other droids. I would betR2 either customized himself, or Anakin possibly Luke customized him over time. BEs should be given the option to add on loot generated specials to droids though, say a fire extinguisher with charges might be acceptable But not craftable. I would like to see bio engineers be able to craft flame retardent tissues for tailorsto use. But that would cause balance issues as well. /sigh

No command for it. R2 had no one there to tell it to put out the fire,he did it himself. Droids aren't the mindless things that SOE has made them, they actually think for themselves. Thats what the whole AI thing is. R2 should automatically put out anyone in its group thats on fire and have a re-use time of 5-20 seconds (depending on crafting quality of the component and the droid) AND the R2's brain component quality should determine how fast it re-acts to a groupmate on fire. But once it see's and douses one groupmate on fire it automatically and instantly responds to any other groupmates on fire, after about 45 seconds where it hasn't put anyone out it returns to requireing a short period where it must learn to re-act. Thats perfect right there, absalutely perfect for CM's and Docs (since they can have medical gear in R2s) and wouldn't overkill the commando's dot.

I willl be naked with only my flame thrower and generic crafting and some resorces. Basicly i got artisan and smuggler and scout so if i need any thing ill just make it and use it on the spot .
