Adv. Armor Break has a longer timer (or it used to at least) and it reduces the targets armor further then just normal or improved. However Saber Armor Break is the best of the armor breaks.

I never have a problem sticking AB even on the guys that you know have the AB sliced armor....does that slice reduce the effectiveness of AB or the frequency that it sticks?

Effectivieness. So if they are sliced it reduces the increased DMG by 75%(Full Slice).

Is armor break working after this last patch? I use it on mobs and my damage does not change.

Seems to me working for me, I dunno though.
