At least they arent giving everyone the ability to use your grenades or other stuff. lol.. they just flat gave away camo kits to everyone in the TC publish. We desperately need a revamp too. Bet you guys get yours first tho. We Rangers make up way too small of a community to be heard or acknowledged.

*Edit* Well like you said, there aren't all that many rangers. Just don't sell the kits out to folks... I am sure someone will grind ranger now just to sell these to people, but make it hard on them to get them unless they want an escort or have you apply it ![]()

All the WS additions..well were already in the WS' schematic lists (im a MWS on an alt), and the power ups are artisan, not WS. Armoursmiths (Caile's a good friend of mine) still require organics, which makes the armour prices higher than pre-CU levels (as well as the Faction armour costs which makes armour INSANELY high...couple that with high decay), which doesn't make sense since now Rangers will have a market with camo kits (why organics were added to armour schematics...which didn't make sense as none of the other crafters that used organics saw an increase!). And lastly? Rangers now will have a reduced functionality...why get a ranger to come with you, when you can buy crates of camo kits? Its very similiar if we lost grenades or HW to any profession...
Then theres us, rendered pretty much useless in PvE - though I *must* admit, the DoT as well as our PFT are pretty dang effective in 1v1 PvP. But thats about it...we're bad in massed PvP with our weapons (look at the guy in the other thread who aggroed a bloody turret while firing at a jedi), and the damage we do can be easily replicated by other professions (although the DoT is a perk, doing 1776 total damage in a minute or two while dishing our some damage on my PFT helps quite a bit. But the problem still persists with only being able to make PFT's in the 260 DPS range, while I can make carbines and pistols in the 280 DPS range! The DoT doesn't always stick, and we also have shorter range with our mastery weapon than a pistoleer to boot. And max damages (which means you hit harder, which is good) doesn't really play into effect all that much as my FWG is only 60 damage points under my PFT...
And of course there are other problems with other professions...entertainer/crafters being able to explore (which they can't now, and the camo kits won't solve that)....
All the professions, each and every one of us need to be looked at. I do hope thats the focus in the upcoming patches. This patch was mostly geared towards the combat system as a whole (which still needs work), and...adding something new? Lets hope the MPVs won't be bugged (I hear they aren't which is good), which is plausible...but the professions are what makes up combat - and do need a good look at. Commandos aren't alone here, we've been BADLY hurt by the CU in our new aspects and in my opinion are still on the list of professions that still are pretty broken, or need serious looking at...but we aren't the only ones...
As diehard a commando I've been, I can't even bring myself to play my commando much anymore. I find myself spending more time working on my AS or my Carbineer.
And, when I *do* use my commando, I don't use the commando weapons. I mean, hell, they're borked beyond reason right now, so why bother? I just use my BH specials and an elite carbine.
I love this profession and this community, but jesus, this is nuts. They told us constantly to "wait for the CU," like it would magically fix everything for us.
We waited, and we're still broke.

I read through this a few times and couldn't find the part where they said they were fixing commando. Then again, I also missed the part where they said they were fixing smuggler as well as correcting the problem with the Y-8 mining ship.
I seem to have quite a talent for picking professions....![]()
