No, he's just asking what tactics a commando should use to counter them. If you don't have anything constructive to say, why don't you go find another board to troll on?
*smirks* One of my best friends is now TKM...
We duel every time he wants to 'try something'.
We've began from 65m and from 2m.
I usually win.
There are three rules of facing a TKA...
1 - This is not kissing, you can stay away from them. Having better terrain Navigation ALWAYS helps
2 - You can shoot him from 64m more reliably than he can punch you at that range.
3 - Flamesingle/cone2 does not give you a 'get out of stupid' free card.
We once played Heidelberg ( a style of rapier torunament combat where you stand just inside sword range and cannot move one foot so basically, you can lunge, but you can't run. In our version, 5m apart). I won because I didn't miss, used warcry before /flamesingle2, and hit the intimidate right off. When I didn't use my skills, I died...
Unarmed is generally regarded as a useless and annoying point sink. I agree, for the most part... but Warcry and Intimidate are the best way to take down a TK... if warcry hits, you have time to use /flamesingle even IF you miss the first time.

So...your upset cause theres a class you cannot beat? Sounds fair to me.
You know what cracks me up about this post most of all...wasn't there just a recent post from a TKA that said they were upset that Commando's always beat TKAs...and now theres a post that says TKAs always beat Commandos...
This proves the point we are always trying to make...Strategy and Secondary Dabbling is how you win the majority of your battles...If you want to beat a Commando or a TKA use their primary weaknesses against them...and for both professions it Kiting....
If you are a Commando fighting a TKA, get yourself a fast Flame Thrower first off...sure it'll be difficult to put on a dot without getting KD...but if you can do it, great, then run like hell and stay out of the 16m to 20m range of a TKA (16m for all TKA...20m for a TKA with Master Brawler). And if you have a ranged profession as your secondary, USE IT over your general Commando skills. Ranged is the way to go when fighting a TKA. Also get Defense Vs. KD and Defense Vs. Dizzy skill mods...whether you get through skill trees or through attachments, these will help the likelihood of a miss on an attempted KD...I'm trying to get these mods like mad on my forum...
If you are a TKA fighting a Commando, by all mean, if they get close go for the KD as fast as you can to try and prevent a DOT...you are probably going to get dot'd if you stay to long in the 16m range, so hopefully there is water around (flameout that chef's make doesn't work according to the Chef I spoke with the other day and posts in their forum)....And just like I mentioned above, if you have a ranged profession as your secondary, USE IT!!! If you can, use KD, hit some powerful blows and quickly run past the 16m threshold to use some ranged attacks...or, hate to say this, keep spamming KD and try to keep the Commando down...and by all means, if the after a commando uses his or her specials, take full advantage of that delay that happens where a commando can do nothing (for around 20 seconds) while the weapon cools down.
If played right, on any given day a commando can beat a TKA...and a TKA can beat a commando...it's now what you have, but how you play with what you have...and for gawds sake...don't expect to be able to beat any profession as a given...it's not...fair isn't an issue here...it's just the way things are...
Life's tough, get a helmet... (my wife loves saying that all the time)
and btw...that post where a TKA said commando's always win:
http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=commando&message.id=39282
Cracks me up...both sides appear to feal the other has a huge advantage....
I don't really see the problem here.
It seems that at 16m, TKA's win, and beyond that, Commando's win. This isn't very different from all melee vs ranged combat.
If that isn't the case, then either the TKA or Commando is doing something horribly wrong.
