Lol, funny you should say that, since a rifleman put me in my place just yesterday xD. Friendly duel, but it showed me where my weaknesses lie. Dunno about swordsmen yet, I'll try soon enough

Well, Swords and Rifles deal the best DPS next to Jedi and the occasional CM. Speed capped with a 1000 dmg PH or a 800+ dmg T21 can rip someone apart. I fought someone with a looted1k dmg DXR-6, and strafeshot was as bad as a lightsaber.

Pikemen have good defense vs. kd and posture down, and besides from that, every pikeman is married to a Nightsister that gives them dozens of mind DOT pikes,making them automatically "good."

I fought my guildie tonight, a msw m brawler somehing else melee and 12 FS boxes. the guy has a 800+ PH and is speedcapped....I flamed, but mostly kited him for 1.5k (we started at krayt graveyard), almost had him a few times....but finally I got incapped (during a muon downer....anyone seeing a patern here? lol). the fight did last 15 20 minuts although he tried to pound me all the time next time I'll have....I will....I must

I dropped commando to pike up a PvP template but if commando becomes a prof that can compete with crazy dotting pikeman then i think i might take it back up.... skin you seem to do very good in PvP as a master commando. keep up the good work fighting for the empire.

actually I believe any combat profession can be viable to PvP with, giving proper preparation.

I was TKM/M SMuggler/M pistoleer before, and did very very well.

I picked up my current commando template, to prove above point, and because it was a real challenge to make it work.

I'm on of the only, if not the only PvP'ing commando's on Tempest...but since a few weeks other people seem to start picking up commando skills too (after seeing my fight *knocks on chest*).

My next venture is going to be PvP'ing with LLC
