At what point did I say I thought it was good?

This is the way I expectit will work once everything is on par with the Heavy weapons ( range mods/improved damage)

The Launcher Pistol will remain our primary weapon.

When lots of enemies attack at once, you pull out your flamethrower and start using Flame Cone I.

I understand what the whole "situational" weapons idea is heading to. You wanna take down an AT-ST, better pull out the rocket launcher. You want to take out something that is vulnerable to Acid? Pull out the HASL or the HAR. Same goes for the rest of the heavy weapons. Launcher pistol is intended to be our primary/sidearm type weapon though until they add new weapons for us to use.

No idea about the Heavy Beam Cannon thingie /shrug

Are you switching back to your Launcher pistol after using the Flamethrower for a little bit? What I am getting at is the whole "situational" use of the heavy weapons. That and the fact that mobs cons go WAY down when you equip the Flame Thrower...at least they do for me and I am further along in Pistoleer than I am into Commando...so that doesnt make much sense.

This is what I think it is

The Game itself doesn't think Heavy Weapons are borked. It believes they are all powerful compared to pistols/rifles/carbines, so it causes the cons to go down on mobs when you equip them and drops the amount of XP granted to you when you kill something with it.
