hehe, i love grenades. It is also fun to run into a pack of enemies and drop a grenade incaping everyone (including yourself). Doesn't work too often, but if you feel like just messing around, it can be alot of fun.

I love it.. Who nee a bomb bot..

I see it now....I run into a mess of Imps. Drop a Proton....we all go incap. FOW DB and instant faction. 2 seconds later I am incapped and lose it.. Such is the war..

...First...any real PvPer knows that he needs armour to stay in the game...hence you rarely see one without Armour...if your first advice was to be taken....no commando would ever even fight in PvP

...Second...disposables, let alone RL's are not economical to use in PvP...UNLESS you got the guy distracted..and not moving...

I've never worn armor in PvP, other than testing my Ubese on a TKM to see how much it helped (even then, that was a duel, no GCW stuff). For that matter, I've never used buffs, food, or spices in PvP.

If we all followed that, PvP would be more enjoyable for all.

Ever wondered why you get killed all the time?

I don't go overt in AH unless I see Imps without armor , otherwise I tend to fight in larger groups. AlthoughI do normally avoid PvP.

Of course then you get the people that say we are incredible in PvP... makes me wonder if they actually play the same game as me.

I am still leveling Commando (4443 atm) and I have Master Rifleman as well, but I love my FT in PvP. I don't rely on it 100%, but if I see someone without armour, or in Stun Layered composite (ie: my Jawa isn't doing squat) I let them have it with the FT. LAtely I am getting more incaps on Health than on Mind (wierd for a Rifleman) plus the wounds from the flames can really prevent zerging and rezzing.

Gernades and heavy weapons are also fun. The other day a guy was probing my bases defenses. When he tried to rid his bike across the river to see how many of us where there, I targeted his bike with a Rocket Launcher. The bike went BOOM and he dropped straight into the water and never made it to shore.

My advice with the Flamethrower: don't use it on Dodge Stackers or other large defense stacked players because you will miss, and then you are a sitting duck. Pick and choose your targets. I get schooled my Master Fencers/TKMs, but if I avoid them and look for softer targets, I do quite well.

I have only been a commando for a month or so, but I am loving it. I think I will stick with it and see what the Combat Rebalance brings us. I have my figers crossed.

Just as some advice, if you're not already using it, buy some of the Citros Snowcake. The BE variety can get up to around +40 accuracy,

which means that at master you could have 150 FT accuracy.

Or one of my fav things to do....use LP!!

With Master Commando/Master Pistoleer...have good speed on LP

Try to do this in a group. Back up to about 50m or so. Pick a target that has other targets surrounding it (i.e shoot the one in the middle..lol) Fire away w/LP. Apparently as the pistol hits from 50m, targets get VERY smokey..screen shakes and an unusual amount of lag sets in!!! More than once this has happened. And at 50m, smoke and lag doesn't affect you

Very annoying to other people
