I have done and always listen to a band when it's playing as I enjoy it a lot. I haven't noticed Figran D'an and his mates through it though. I'll listen harder next time.
However, thinking about this has led me to a question that I can't find an explicit answer too in this forum: can dancers use droids that play music or is that solely the domain of musicians?

I agree with Eaca... we need to be fixed. Besides, when one of use decides to drive traffic to a player cantina, we end up performing alone in there because they keep going back to AFK dancers in Theed or Buffbots in Coronet. I just spent over 4 million credits (which is a lot of cash for a pure entertainer with no income other than tips) to decorate Club Nix in Ticonderia on Talus near the IO on Flurry, and I know that despite my efforts to make it one of the greatest looking cantinas on the server and trying to perform there, my Club will be dead 99.9% of the time aside from private parties and live events.
We need to end the AFKing for healing and buffing and make entertainers appealing again, we need to give power to the entertainers so they can combat rudeness and grief, and then the real roleplayers will come back to entertaining and out of hiding, and then we'll have entertainers all over the place. The problem is now people dance and play only for XP, the masters flee all the NPC cantinas because of the negative environment. Fix entertainer and you'll see those masters all over the Galaxy. They do not care for xp, they just want to roleplay a performer and be appreciated and feel more worthy than a macro script.

Withen 5 seconds of me mastering commando today,I was dizzy Kd'd. at least Arch Enemy has the decency to let me train up first.......

Wow, that is really strange. What Dizzy/KDed you? A Master TK/Commando that trained then dueled you?

nope i was overt in Craft city on naboo, was talking to the trainer, then WHACK! we really need decent kd defense.

Yeah we do....:/ but still that must've been a shock to your system. Although you could get you mastered screenshot incapped!

its called thakitillo , a nice chef food.
no need to waste points on pistoleer or fencer.
im commando 4.4.0.0 master bh on my alt... doing some pvp ive had 2 tka's spamming KD on me and they couldnt land it. I landed them on their back with dizzy and kd from carbine specials, shoved a fire dot from bh pistols into each and threw a thermal at them and i RAN like hell..2 tka are too dangerous to handle imo. About 100m out i get kill message on one of them, the 2nd one i met later on as covert with his health ham bar almost totally black.
he was like 'what the f dude you wouldnt knock down you a fencer?'
i held my silence and munched on my thakitillo as i scanned ze radar for more imps....

Accually, I don't run around w/ thakitillo, even while overt, but mainly cause i'm poor. But if a prof. NEEDS a food to survive in PvP like that, that isn't good, the food should augment the skills, not fill in a complete lack of them.

I remember an ancient post about this...
We were given minimal Special Defenses due to our "overwhelming" offensive capabilities...and the devs even were considering of taking away our +5 KD Defense, deeming it "too much"...

We have offensive capabilities? granted, It's fun setting pooper troopers on fire, as a speed capped rifleman, I can mow them down by the hundreds in seconds.......

OK, so we need a major defense upgrade. Hopefully in the CU we'll see that happen.

the stars? yea, the mind poison I got hit with? nah, then Arch got pissy when I manged to stand up wit about 50 mind left, and promptly hit Feighn death, said i wouldn't die with honor, My job is not to die with honor for my faction, It's to make YOU die with honor. or On fire at least
