Too true Tac. I was novice commando then through flame 1 when that damage mod came out and I was absolutely loving it. I would kite War Grondasand gronda patriarchs cause they couldnt catch up to me so I didnt care if I misses most the time, I would bring em down eventually. But then after that patch that I had no idea that they did it, I went out after war grondas and the next thing I know is they could catch me and I had been hit a few times befor by them but this time I couldnt survive one hit after theyd lag warp on top me. It was a really low blow to sneak that sort of thing in there like that and I wasnt sure what was going on till I came here for the first time to see what you all had to say about it.

Anyway, It became really rough at that point, and I strugled to get thorugh flame2 cause I had to go fight a lot weaker creatures. I was so close to quitting commando because of that but amazingly I stuck it out and was soon introduced to Non-CH pets. Those worked until flame 3 but then Irealized I wanted even more XP since then I was doing humbabas. I already had the scout XP needed so I took a little CH just until the modis dropped and the CH nerfto use a GSP so they would hold up a lot better to what I wanted to fight and moved up to torturs. Now the mod is going to be dropped and the CH nerf is coming at the same time. It is a good thing but now that Im at TK 1/1/0/3 and commando 2/4/4/1 I found that I dont need the pets out on torturs when I got my 70-80% full suit of ubese armor on, the TK defenses, and masked scent helping me a little to avoid being packed. I still prefer to to save me stoping to treat wounds but I feel I have weened myself and couldnt be happier. Only problem is on TC we got melee mitigation which is going to get me to drop some of my TK for I think rifleman for the ranged attack and more defenses than pistoleer which going up precision striking I have noticed a diference. I will keep precison striking 3 however cause I dont want to have wasted all that combat XP and so I wont be totally helpless if someone manages to disarm me.

tell me about it techno. when i was upping commando heavy weapons and flamer trees i was also upping squad leader. I had to use the ACID RIFLE or my group would get so pissed at my FPS dropping fireball spamming that they'd leave.

Of course, back then squad leader was fun... you had the power of command.If they didnt obey you, you just Morale Boost.. and the CH's 3 rancor's 2500 wound each would be nicely spread to all of us, making ham bar nice and black as we flipped over incap'd. Booyah!
