I know TH will pick us the right person; just don't count them out if they have a low number of posts here.

I think what MadDog was referring to is a low poster may have not been reading our forum section for very long...that's a thought that doesn't inspire much confidence...not a knock on the person selected, but someone who has been posting on this forum for a long time has shown us clearly their level of understanding...we know that person better...and can judge them more clearly on whether we think they will do a good job...

Someone who has either just lurked or is new to our forum has no credentials for us to base our feelings on...Would you buy a car without first doing research on it? Would you hire an employee without checking into their background to see what type of person they are?

Before Ivoni left, we all hoped she would be our new Correspondent...she wrote our FAQ...she posted well worded and highly educated analysises of our professions and it's wants/needs...That's the type of person we strive for...anyone choosen will have to deal with being compared to those standards...

The person picked could be absolutely the best correspondent for us...but it's the possibility of a lack of credentials that makes our faith a bit weak...You have to fully know our profession and the hopes of those within our profession to represent us to the Dev's...if you haven't been on this forum very long, you don't know us...if you've only lurked you haven't shown us who you are...
