AOE. our issue with AOE is that the area of hit works but the damage do not.

Skills. we needa skill that do damage.

that is not onlyour plobem. alot of other classes combat and crafters do want looted and quest items craftable.hopely what the dev said in the chat meeting will come true with TOW.

1. fix AOE damage to 40% or 100% of damage inflicted to the primary target. (currently it is always elemental damage + 1 and not a percentage of total damage to the primary target)
2. fix the bug where the weapon equiped affects grenade damage (the weapon equiped should not affect grenade damage in any way)
3. Allow experimentation on the innate effects (DoTs, chance to KD, chance to Blind, snare, etc...) for grenades and Heavy Weapons.

1) Fix AOE if possible


2) Increase Damage to gerandes


3) Give us more Defense so we can last longer when we aggro those 15 pikets

1. Commando istoo far gone fora "1 man designer team".


It's like 1 man tasked to fix Leonardos "Mona Lisa" after it got shot up by a UZI, and all they gave him was some white canvas, no paint, just some white canvas.


The holes will be fixed, but "Mona Lisa" wont be fixed, nor will she be "Mona Lisa"

needed changes :


- craftable cl 54 non AOE Weapons

- lower SAC or higher Damage for !only!Master Commando Weapons (to prevent dabbling in Commandoto unbalance profs)

- at least 1 or 2 Special Attacks or a Buff that increases Damage Multiplier

- Grenade fixes (our only state effects/specials but fire dot with PFT)

- higher Element Damage also on the non AOE Weapons or a craftable AOE and non AOE Weapon with Kinetic Damage (every Prof has that)

- new requirements for Commando since it has nothing to do with Melee Profs but Ranged Profs f.e. 1 Tree in Scout (Trapping?)

- increase PST fire dot duration and stickrate compared to the Combat Medic Deuterium Toss (same for Cryoban Grenade)



My main Point is that with our highest SAC costs together with the lowest Speed we are useless compared to any other Ranged Prof -there should be a balance possible. Maybe let the SAC costs cap at 100 for our craftable Weps but give us a 20% higher dam cap or lower the SAC cap to where Rifles are basedcause they have same dam caps.Commando Weps do not even then as much damage as Rifles do since a Commando has no Specials to multiply the damage Output.

I do not belive this is the only time we will get DEV help.


Using your analgy yes, this is some one coming in to fix the holes in the Mona Lisa with wight canvis.


This fixes the holes but not the painting itself.


However it is the pre-cursor to some, or a group of people comming in to paint over the patched up holes to fix it the rest of the way.


This is Helios trying to do a touch up on commando and fit it in with some upcomming publish, mabey even 24, just alittle tidbit to throw in there for us.


This is the full commando fix we have been wanting nor does it mean we will never get a full commando fix/revamp.



This is kinda like what is happening with Shipwrights/Pilots in pub 24 with the change in PoB weapons. Just changing some stats around with big results

I can be specific, but then my list is going to be way longer then 3. The problem is we need so much fixed, that one special, or one change to one weapon is not good enough.

This ticks me off.

We need a Revamp period. If they can't figure that out maybe they won't see another $15 anytime soon. Honestly just having Helios put in extra two hours a day or something to fix Commando on his own is wrong. Maybe SOE should stop making the Jedi Expansion (Don't say anything, because that's what it is...) and fix the other parts of the game. It' becoming the same old same old. Fix one thing ignore the rest, and forget. Something is wrong with SOE they have drastically reduced the team after the CU, probably due to complaints the figure the game has had it. It's pretty evident they are not trying very hard or working very fast, which suggests they don't have much of a team.

Anyways I will try to be more specific, but when he asked for three things to be magically fixed I imagined all my Grenades doing great damage, Special Abilities I listed, and the old animations back and a Master Level Rocket Launcher.

Look I can't be specific without being long. I can't be short without being specific.

So I'm either gonna post a long detatiled description of bla bla bla, or make a quick statement saying this this and this.

How about 30 things not 3?

The problem with quick fixes is they tend to imbalance something. It's just like Pre-CU all over again. They'll add one little thing and it will cause a whole mess of problems. Sadly the CU has not established a much more balanced playground so to speak.

Also I don't think good things are coming. I'm mad again. I can't believe the arrogance we must put up with. And I was right the Devs don't read our forums ever.

I sure hope I'm wrong or will be...
