Hmmmmmm is this idea akin to the bh missions? BH's have them because they have their "investigation" tree and for the bounty hunter aspect. We do have missions: Hey can you use your rocket launcher on that atst over there?, Hey can you torch all these tef griefing wankers?, etc. Commandos get missions every day lol we just don't get paid for it.
If you really wanted to push this we would have to make a tree sacrifice like the bh's otherwise it would result in bh's flaming us and they would be in the right. They pay in skill to have their missions. LOL but I'm sure we could drop the HAR tree and nobody would notice it
There are ways to make money just through your damage. Try picking up smuggler and fiegn death I hear it works wonders on endor missions.
It's not a bad idea but how could you justify it in regards to the bh missions? Personally, I'd prefer another weapons tree instead of a wasted tree just so we can have missions I think most bh's feel the same. Appearently (since I've never been one), the bh's investigation line is the most difficult and thier missions are still bugged to hell.

We'll i found a commando missions which was to go too a rebel bse and clear the way to the base so others could get there..But it was only one problem after i got done with the mission it gave me jack....

Iam currently a bounty hunter considering converting to commando, and i was wondering if any one knows weather devs are planning to make a commando missionsterminal or make commando specific missions another way. if anyone knows please let me know.

Basic questions guys, please be kind. Are there Commando specific (like bounty hunter, dancer, ranger etc.) missions available?? If so how do I go about getting and excuting one?? Are there terminals, NPCs what. Thanks for being kind.

ANYWAY, I'm posting this because I remember ol' StarNick's post re: his ideas of vehicles (tanks), turrets, base take downs AND Commando Specific Missions. Some of the ideas being proposed in that other forum (by other players) are pretty similiar if not exactly like some of the stuff we've thought of here...
I'm just posting this so that everyone who is interested can go over there and submit/push for some of these cool ideas that have been floated over here...as long as these ideas are implemented, I think we'll be happy...doesn't really matter what board pushed the ideas through me thinks.
Garvin, I hope you don't get mad at me for posting this here. I know that this is the wrong forum...it's only that some of this stuff relates to some of our ideas.

Anything that effect's Commando's should be posted here man. I agree, I remember reading something along the lines of Commando mission terminals. And if memory serves it was a good idea they had. Which got me thinking as well. There should be mission terminals and then there should be "Combat Terminals". Combat terminals would have missions specifically geared towards missions that have NPC's,Base Take downs (Like the Jabba quests), search and destroy, and or Group missions that then spawn's a Higher level Base when a high group mission is picked up. Different Professions would get access to different types of these missions. And some of the tougher missions would have timer's in them to make them a bit harder.
We could either have these types of terminals (which also would have chances for you to embark on a quest) or flat out there should be profession quests for all professions. A combat up-grade is all well and good and most diffinatly badly needed. But after that we need that little known ingrediant known as "CONTENT!" which SWG is somewhat lacking in my opinion. But I can answer that question for the Dev's "That is a possibility in the Future, but currently I have no comment on it"--TH. I grant TH one deserved Loral, and that is he is great at dodging questions.

Yea, I hear you too bro. The problems that this game has are not small. The combat upgrade is going to be huge because the problems with combat are also huge...and the need to add Star Wars (content)to a Star Wars MMO is kinda funny...and sad. It would be nice if the Devs would at least post more often about the combat upgrade and any future plans for the galactic civil war...but I guess they're tired of their broken promises...but communicating nothing to us can be damaging too since no information is turnining some of us off.
