It is my belief that every profession deserves content specifically for itself after mastery, besides just jedi grind. I've written similar stuff for DEs and BHs, but after playing republic commando, i've become enamored with commando, and so, here's my idea:
in wayfar, you'll come across an NPC named Sev, wearing normal clothing, but with a suit of beaten up clone armor sitting next to him.
if you have commando or squad leadermastered and a commando or squad leaderweapon equiped, when you walk near him he'll do a /hail emote to you and say:
"You look like the type who could help me out with something"
after conversing with him:
"Hmm? what do you want?"
"Calm down, calm down, i'm not going to rob you. Your weapon just reminds me of the old days"
"What old days are those?"
"What old days do you think? The Clone Wars you idiot"
"Idiot! Why I oughta..."
"Ha! I'd like to see you try, i'm not too old to turn you into a smoldering crater yet. I've taken on enemies the likes of which you can only dream about, or maybe nightmares in your case."
"So you were a clone trooper were you?"
"Commando, son, not a trooper, don't insult me."
"Very well, commando then, so what is it you wanted me to help you with?"
"Well, it seems that a few of my enemies from the old days we were talking about have come looking for some payback. I suppose if they'd done to me what i'd done to them i'd want the same, but it's kill or be killed right? Right!"
"So you want me to take them out for you then?"
"yeah, i'm not so strong as i used to be. I'd give them a good fight, but i don't know if i could win, not alone anyway."
"How many are there?"
"can't say, but more meat for the grinder, right?"
Proceed to the waypoint and you'll find some high level baddies waiting for you.
A combination of DWB battle droids (not super), some IG assassins and some trade federation NPCs
After defeating all the NPCs, a clone trooper commando helmet will appear in your inventory, it will be tagged "Delta's helmet"
return to sev and give him the helmet.
"NOOO, do you know what this is? They got Delta Leader. Damn them! they'll pay! Come back a little later, i need to think. You might wanna consider getting some troops of your own mustered"
For this next stage, you'll need a group of professions with you. You'll need a ranger, a squad leader, a Commando, andSmuggler with slicing: terminalsto advance. 4 people is the max and min for the group, Sev won't talk to you otherwise.
"good, i see you've assembled a squad, well, you'll need it. I went out to the site of the party you killed, nice job by the way, clean. Anyway, it's obvious to me that that party came from a base. I suspect now that getting me was just a bonus. The bank clans and trade federation, for some reason, must think they can use this civil war as an opportunity, for what i don't know, but they seem to have a base established here. I wasn't able to find it, but maybe your ranger can track it down? When you find the base, well, you'll know what to do, take these."
After you finish conversing with him, your party should move into the desert. the ranger needs to /areatrack and a waypoint will be given for the location of the base. Sev will have given you "Republic Detonators" and the squad leader will have recieved "detonator remote"
when you arrive, the base, like a typical nyax like bunker will spawn and with it, trade federation, battle droid, and mercenary NPCs will spawn. If the ranger has applied camo to you,the npcs won't see you until you're very closeyou don't HAVE to take them all down for the mission to be completed, if you're fast enough it won't matter, because you're there to blow the base up.
Protect the smuggler from the outdoor spawns as he attempts to slice to door controls. once he has, proceed inward and make your way to the bottom. on the bottom, there'll be a terminal and structure called "power conduit" the smuggler needs to slice the terminal to turn off the shielding. the commando will need to set the charges on the conduit. after that, run to the surface. when you're a safe distance away(~20 m) the squad leader must use the detonator remote and the base will explode. All the npcs will be killed. move back over to the wreckage. the ranger can /forage for items finding things such as:
Battle Droid Blaster
Battle Droid Head
Underslung Carbine Schematic
Battle Droid Heavy Armor Schematic (for droid engineers)
Battle Droid Energy Absorbtion Polymers (for droid engineers)
Battle Droid Prototype Droid Brain Schematic (for droid engineers)
Go back to Sev.
You destroyed the base? Excellent, but things aren't over yet. An assassin droid came for me while i was eating not too long ago. I destroyed it, but it wasn't an easy fight. A few bacta treatments and i should be ok, but there's lots more work for you to do. In the meantime, let me give you these, i think you've all earned it. Come back if you decide you want more of these droids dead, it's addicting isn't it?
All members of the squad will have a random piece of Clone Trooper Armor placed in their inventories and given the badge:
Has proven him/herself an Elite Combat Specialist, granting them the certification for clone trooper armor.
The final mission will be repeatable, as the remnants of the CIS will always try and get a foothold.
I know it's kind of wishful thinking, but it's at least as realistic as the korriban petition was

ftw = for the win
i believe this is an excellent idea....
armorsmiths have the RIS thing...
jedi have the FRS
what do the other people have? hmmmmmm
And i dont know about the single piece of clone armor...that would just add another extremely high dollar loot item into the game....I dont know about everywhere else, but on my server, loot items such as these can cost extravagant amounts of money......And if you only get one piece, your gonna have to fork mucho credits over to others to complete the set...Give the commando his full set and the cert.
Also, i dont think the non-commandoes should get the cert and armor. Each profession should have content for themselves.
Ranger helps you? You go help the ranger get his special content, items and certs.
If you help a jedi kill another ranked jedi, they DB and get FRS points....you shouldn't though
Overall though...you FTW!
