I must confess I'm not a commando, and therefore am notable to debatehow the weapons should be like(although i did read quite a bit about it on the forums). All I know is that Commandos are suppose to be surviviors, the toughest military unit available. But for some reason they have little defenses available to them. If it unbalances the profession to toughen them up abit, then take away some of their uselessheavy weapons I say. I still think grenade grenade certifications and bonusesshould be given to the marksmen profession instead of limiting them to Commandos. That would balance things out a bit. It's too bad really that this profession is not how it should (or could)be. When I read about Commando's in the old forums during beta testing I thought this was the coolest class. D a m n shame...

I think they should make the commando profession much better, but also much harder to attain. Commados are the most elite of the elite, and their profession takes almost all off their time, leaving little spare time for other activities. They are also proficient with any and all types of weapons, and are experts at staying alive in the wilderness while scouting the enemy. This is how it should be in SWG. It should take many skills to be a commando, say master marksman, master scout, and unarmed specialist. Tomake theworkit would take to become a commando worth while, they should make them thesingle most lethal profession. They wouldn't be unstoppable, by any means, but they would be a force to be reckoned with.

Anyway, thats just my two credits. Try to keep the flaming to a minumum.

Rebeltrooper, unfortunatly thats not how a commando is, but I agree with most of what you said. Master Marksman, Master Scout, Unarmed Specialist is a bit of a rough requirement, but if Commandos really were expanded upon enough, it might be needed. Other then the Unarmed requirement though, you pretty much decribed Bounty Hunter. Pistol skills, carbine skills, and even someheavy weapons skills. Weapon wise, they are the most well rounded profession in the game, which is what the Commando should be, not the Bounty Hunter.
