novice commando, with bounty hunter pistol line, pistoleer grips and stances for speed and specials, and smuggler pistol for last ditch.

you can have a launcher pistol with 500max dam shooting specials once a second doing last ditch which hits for an amazing dam.

now that is the ultimate line.

They payed their $14.99 monthly just like you did. Let them do whatever the hell they wanna do.

There's no reason to waste 43 skill points which could be spent on getting other usefull skills.

The following template is alot more effecient then a template which includes master commando.

Creature handlers can say the same, people who only work up 2 trees and don't touch the other stuff of people who only use basic medic to use stim b's. So guess that means you have to master every profession you have on your list. Break out your swords and polearms, master that brawler profession, you only dabbled and worked on unarmed 4 just so you could reach commando, you had no interest in the other lines. *sigh*

I'm sorry I care that you hate me why? I couldn't think of anything either. Now quit dabbling in Medic, CH, Brawler, and any other class you have not mastered or else **edit**.

Now on to the reason I am posting. THE BEST PvE is MCH/FT. At Master creature Handler you can have either 3 full grown GSP's or 2 Grauls, or a Rancor and a Dewback (Rancors bleck), or a Webmaster anda Dewback or a Mountain Squill with a... okay you get the point. But, essentially you can have multiple beasts to tank for you. As an MCH I can get attacked by 3 mobs or more and with my novice medic keep myself alive long enough (in many cases) until my pets gain agro. I can then bunch my pets together and Flame Cone the lot of the beasts. I can take down multiple mobs really quickly this way. Now, the BH may be good, but the skill point usage to get to the LLC limits how much you can get into CH.

My original build was MBH with CH supplement, but I found that I like the Flamethrower better (even with delays) for PvE. I do more PvE then PvP or I would get the LLC and ditch commando.

Well, maybe its because the flamethrower is the only weapon that works?

Face it, grenades miss 90% of the time and 10 to 12m range means they usually kill you as many times as they hurt the enemy. Oh, and no effects, its just a stupid explosion. Grenades should AOE knockdown and blind or the heat based ones give a light AOE burn dot. They they'd be worth it.

HAR is a joke.

HPBC/RL is the only tree line besides flamethrower thats worth it.

Frankly, my only commando skills will be 0/4/2/0 .. i dont need anything more. Id rather spend my other points in useful skills like the carbineer and pistoleer and rifleman specials.. so i can reach out and hit from range, and if the fight gets close and personal i can turn the heat on with the flamer.

I grabed CH last night.

I have enought HW xp saved up so that I can jump right back into the full time commando gig if and when it becomes worth it.

I salute you masters that willpower to ride out the storm, but we won't see any fixes for a couple of months. So why make the next couple of months painfull? If you hit master you have more than enough HW xp saved up that going back to master won't be a problem. I say we change to what works.

Right now that is the best possible PvE I can come up with, and only thing i'm missing is the CH.

That's a great temp Jez, it's the one I use And, I figure if they ever make Master Commando worth the skill points, I will drop my medic line.

To the topic starter:

Why is it wrong? Hybrid templates are encouraged in this game and it should not matter to you one little bit how someone chooses to make their character. I believe, that over time, the most powerful templates will be hybrid templates. So, me taking novice pistoleer for healthshot2 to use with my LP is something to be hated for? What is the difference?

If not for the choice of "dabbling" in professions, PvP would be A LOT more boring than it already is.

This "purebred" attitude toward professions is lame; I planned on being a Commando before I even got the game, and I prefered dropping the other trees beside FT for others - due to the fact that it gave me a broader range of possibilities when I got bored.

With one character slot, being a prissy "you all suck cuz your not a Master Commando" kinda player is just ridiculous...
