well reagardless of who its "for" it at least gives us some more damage.

but i woudl rather have teh aoe fixed han have elemental damge fixed. i think they shoudl poll professinos each time they do a publish to see what their most wanted bug to get rid of is. then fix all thsoe bugs, publish it, and move on to the next one.

The commando half of my template is much happier about the TC notes than the smuggler half of my template.

Bah.. i'm still worried about the slicing implementation for a variety of reasons, really one of those pass judgement on it when I see it things so I haven't gotten any hopes up at all over it.

On the other hand, I really do want to start having a reason to carry around multiple weapons again and having to think about what weapon to use in what situation. Half that fix is elemental damage working, the other half is being able to see enemies resists so I don't have to have my combat tab open and a calculator ready.

*gets antsy for TC to come up so he can play with his toys and see what's up*

Well whatever. I guess it's something. And AoEs that hurt the stuff we tick off is better then nothing.

Ain't never happy no sirey...

But back to the point of the Thread, Does the Elemental Damge Fix on the CU make you feel:

Happy in the Pants(Elemental Damage now works)

Or

Sharp pains in the Pants(They got us excited for nuttin!)

?

CM's are like nukes. You have them just incase you need them, but as soon as you start using yours the other guys start using theirs and everything goes to hell-PyschoticChipmunk -The First line of the Riflenomican.

I don't know about you guys, but back when CU came and I was all exited about elemental damage I ordered some stuff with elemental damage around the 200s (HAR for instance). This patch DOES give me a tingly feeling. 200 elemental damage is what jedi will get on their sabers if they have sunriders destiny crystals iirc. It is not a tiny bonus, and I sure didn't see any other classes' weapons with elemental damage like that as some previous poster stated that ours was lower than others.

What if, and I am only speculating, our AoE is the elemental damage?

Happy in my pants - call me a dog that's been throwna bone, but I'm just glad that something has gone our way. Obviously it's gone everybody else's way more....but I'll take what I can get.

I can seethe fire, now at least I canwatch em burn.

It would be nice to see the resists on a creature, even if it'sa scoutskill - creature knowledge surely must count for something apart from"yeah....that's a creature allright". It would certainly give rangers something else to do.

Just the AoE to go then - then commando should be at least up to a point where it was before they fixed the previous fixes that, from what I gather weren't really that fixed, but at least they were better than the way we've been fixed after the CU......err.......fix.

On a side note (this will cheer you up) the creature handlers big fix for this patch is.........drumroll.......

Creature Handler:

  • Pets in groups now get their own special "pet" role icon
  • Added role icon for pets.

LOL!!!

Maybe that'll make you feel a little better about getting something useful.

It's not fixed.

Just checked.

"you hit tortur for 205 damage (135 kinetic and 70 heat) the tortur armor absorbed 3 out of 135 possible damage."

Floated above it's head? 132.

Please DON'T take this as law, especially when it comes to consistancy across situations and targets, but after playing with my PFT and LBC a bit on TC i'm seeing:

- I'm seeing the change in combat spam listing, but total numbers wise it isn't showing up to be damaging for much, if any, more then before. I need to go kill some Juvy Krayts because that's the only creature I have hard damage per shot / special numbers listed for.

- I'm not seeing 0s and 1s in combat spam anymore, side targets have been taking damage and dying when they should (for example, hitting one of the static spawns of gurks with a ball of 5 or 6 Gurks and a Gurk King, whole pile fell at same time), even for creatures I never directly shot or that never hit me. *But* I have notie as I've been driving around killing other random things I've noticed that there are some things that I'm just not hitting at all, not sure if its a LOS thing or something else, but for example I was shooting a Mercenary Elite at 18-20m but the Mercenary destroyer directly in between us wasn't taking damage from the LBC.

- I'm still seeing the DOT-kill zombies where enemies pop back up without any states on occation instead of turning to corpses.
