Well the devs lack of response works both ways....from 3 years playing infantry online and seeing this kind of lack of response on a far worse and lengthy scale...its either the devs are actually working or the public relations guy isnt doing his job - of course infantry never had, nor will most likely, has a pr guy so maybe it doesnt apply here

however rather than complaining, maybe theres just something they aren't telling us because they're working on it...

Optimism kills faster than stupidity, thisproffesion isDEAD in 6 months it might actuly have some chance of working but frankly right now from the response we have seen no one on top really cares one way or another the whole proffesion needs to be retooled, andohnestly I still cant get over the fact that some tard running through a gunfight with a sword does more damage than a ROCKET LAUNCHER. In any simulation of semi real world physics sword= missing limbs, high explosives = chunky salsa

LOL! Chunky Salsa! First time I have actually laughed tonight, thanks.

Bummer... and now reality sets in....

The strategy the devs employ to ensure they don't work too hard, which might make this game good. It shows.

Lol. Relax. I've been relaxing for three weeks now, waiting for changes.

If I relax anymore, I'm going to go rent movies, roflmao. Maybe I should cancel. I could take the money and go rent some nifty WWII movies, or maybe the SW trilogy, the *real* one. And maybe I'll see SpecForce commandos, and Imperial Commandos in action.

And sure as heck not with flamethrowers and acrid rifles.

Yes, I spelled it acrid. Cause that's the taste this profession is leaving in my mouth.

Shoulda went pistoleer....

r-e-l-a-x he says.

You do realize, of course, the "Vibro knucklers" have an ideal range of 1, right?

Yeah, the "Unarmed" weapon has a longer range than the "Heavy" weapon. What the DEVs are saying is "If you want to blow something up, first you must strap yourself to the object."

If this game had a working collsion detection system than it would be impossible to get to a range of "Zero!" The ideal range of 0 is obviously an error, yet the DEVs contend that it was ment to be that way! They obviously are not paying any attention what-so-ever.

The only way to get range zero is to stand "inside" of the target you want to hit. The DEVs are Smoking Crack if they think the commando class is working as intended.

No, the reason why Heavy Weapons have an idealrange of 0.0 is because, the devsexpect all commandos to eventually put that weapon to our heads and pull the trigger out of frustration.

Sadly, they failed to take into account that, gimped as they are, even that might not be enough to kill us.

hehehe,

Mystidia was just tryin to say wait and see how the game plays after the patch. The rest of you cry like little whiny bitches.

Here's a suggestion: If you dont like the game, quit.

It's that simple.

If ya cant afford the $.50 per day to play the game, maybe you play to much and should consider getting a job.

I think most people who paid money for this product and invested time into it would like to see something out of it. If someone chooses to post something negative about the product or service it is their right just as it is your right to post something about it. Calling them whiny bitches just makes you look like an an arogant ass yourself lol.

Might want to try to respect others opinions whether you agree with them or not.

You know Cel, lots of people seem to have more than just money invested in this game. We're talking about a development team that built up a pre-release community around this game based on promises and the potential of this revoultionary game. They hooked the community in as early as they could (as per Raph's rules of design) with empty promises of what's to come. The game was so hyped up with these promises that there was talk that this game could break 1,000,000 users.

While in EQ, my guildmates constantly talked of this game as if it would change the MMORPG would, the game that would destroy EQ once and for all (incidently, the same way they now talk about WoW after their expectations were broken here.) Every where I saw a MMORPG player, they knew about SW:G and what was to come. There's more than just money invested here, I know it sounds corney but there were dreams in this game of how cool it was going to be.

Now, we're left with a sense of emptyness, even betrayal that the development team hyped this game so much before it was released. Broken promises, empty words, and a half-complete game that were created by both the pre-game hype of the developers, and the post-release world of what we really got. Do you guys remember how cool Q made this game sound in the community releases? About how amazing and revolutionary the world was, how his quests were beautifuly written. This was 8 months before the game was released, and you saw hundreds of responses.

Talk about propaganda and distortion!

I agree. I remember ALL the promises of how great the game is going to be. Its sad that this is the current state of the game to. I really had hoped SWG was going to be great, but after the first couple of mission I did in beta I was not to impressed, but I figured it "Hey its beta, its gonna be alot better then this when it goes live!"

Hmmm pretty sad what I saw in beta is what we got.

"Shoulda went pistoleer...."

/emote sarcasm

Yeah but look at their plight. Poor guys don't have holsters for the pistols and don't have a triwly action! Oh and they can't stand toe-to-toe with BHs in PvP. BHs only had to master marksmen and scout... they had to master the pistol branch. That had to take, what, a day of killing gnorts and flesh-eating cubas outside Moenia to accomplish.
