MASTERS should hit hard. Granted I'm a novice commando (1-1-3-0) but I WILL be a Master. Many will grab novice bh and commando just for the initial weapons and stop there. There should be WAY more of an insentive to becoma master...and make it harder too.

Exactly, BH's should be the 1vs1 masters of the game, while commando's can take multiple targets, 1vs1 a BH should own a commando, but then again its also the player, i mean if a master commando takes on a master BH and the commando uses good enough tactics, he can beat him, its all in the player, but 2 equal players fighting each other a BH vs Commando who know what they are doing, the BH will win. its their job to fight 1vs1, but if we get in a ring with a AT-ST ( soon ) we will show the true power of the C-Force

Master Teras Kasi / Going Pistoleer Master.
A member of ROGUE
Beta Tester who is behind the times
We will show them the true power of the C-Force

Commandos DO get owned by BH's one on one. Thing is...a smart BH. For example, today I duelthe same BH twice the first time he was unaware of my weaknesses. He shot and missed (I was suprised) and I flame singled him. He dropped. However I didnt DB him. He was amazed and then I told him our weaknesses and he tried again. The next fight he actually used some tacitics when it came to manuevering instead of standing 10m in front of me and spamming. He won..easily.

The Bounty Hunter profession has been reduced to a Combat class, when in Reality and in Star Wars, a Bounty Hunter is as much or more a Hunter/Tracker as he is a fighter. In SWG, The BH is just another Commando with different moves and 1 worthless skill tree. In RL, a Bounty Hunter would NEVER, EVER waltz up to its mark/contract and go toe to toe with him. He gives himself the advantage and reduces his risk. In Star Wars films, Bounty Hunters did very little killing. Boba Captured his marks by using steath and cunning to track them. Even Jengo hired an Assassin to kill his mark, Instead of exposing himself.

So, what does that mean in SWG terms? It means the BH class is broken, much like the Smuggler class is. They do not perform the task they are supposed to perform, so they are reduced to just another combat class.

The only halfway decent argument anyone can make for a BH to "own anyone 1 on 1", is that they spend more skill points. That is a flawed argument in many ways. One, almost half those points are spent on non-combat skills. Two, spending points doesnt equate to uberness: I can make a Dancer/Image designer and spend as many points as a BH.

But here is the bottom line:

A BH should own its MARK, and should be a powerful combat class. In a toe to toe, /duel PvP scenario, there is no foundation or reason why a BH is supposed to be the best at it. Unless the "I spent more pointZ!" excuse suits you.

Fix the BH profession. dont Nerf commandos.

It sounds more to me like you need to develop some new tactics instead of whining for a nerf. Especially that class for the most part BH's have been on these forums supporting commandos thru the 2 months of crap. Heck when the concept of correspondents first came out, Garibaldi's ISP was down and the BH correspondent came over here and gave a preliminary report to the developers on Commando.

I hope the BH's reading this think this is the feeling of commandos in general. I dont have any problems with BHs. I win some, I lose some. But I always have fun. More power to ya.
