This IS the COMMANDO board DeneziB, the place where COMMANDOS go to talk about issues relating to COMMANDO. And what he said is true, if you don't bring a doc along, you're just asking to be put out of a battle by wounds, or armour decay.

As for the devs having all the knowledge of MMORPG's and making IMPARTIAL decisions...well maybe I won't say what we're all thinking, cause I'm sure you can figure it out.

And I find it funny that you're calling him a griefer out of the blue, why cause he's a commando who does his job of lighting people on fire? Go back to the BE boards, we'll call you if we need help with a base.

You'd be hard-pressed to find a SOE employee tell you that the Commando forum is only for people who have the novice commando box filled. He's a griefer because he doesn't think that there is something wrong with applying DOTs multiple times on incapped people just so they could clone with 90% burn wounds, and to justify it by saying that the person should be travelling with a doctor is even more evidence that he's a griefer.

Actually buddy, I'M the one who was talking about burning the guy multiple times, and only because it was a special occasion. Ask any imp on flurry, I DB as soon as they incap.

You obviously do not PvP much, because EVERY SINGLE PROF OUT THERE LIKES HAVING DOCS FOR REZZING. Everyone knows that by not carrying a doc they're asking for all sorts of trouble.

Well maybe you don't, but I'm guessing as a MBE you don't pvp much, so that's excusable.

If you would've bothered to read my posts, you would find that I said nothing of the sort. I deathblow on first incap (unless its a base raid for obvious reasons, then nobody on the attacking force should deathblow. I am 100% against griefing of any kind. However, you come on here stating opinions that are going to further cripple an already crippled class. You notice the cries to nerf commandos died out for the most part about 2 months ago? That's because armor and buffs caught up, allowing people to be prepared for the intial damage done by the commando. Most experienced pvpers can now destroy a master commando with absolute ease. Meanwhile, we have a BE who may have hologrinded commando for a little while, coming on our boards, dictating to us, that every commando is wrong and that you are right. We are a very honerable community here. While the CM coorespondant is busy with posts showing how to exploit the range of poisons, we were fighting to have our heavy weapons requalified from melee, as we felt it was unfair to riflemen for us to be doing 2.5x damage to them when we were using a ranged weapon. WAY back in the day, we fought hard to make our consumable heavy weapons very inacurate against "soft" targets (a mistake by us, as no hard target has anything less than 90% resists to energy, acid and lightning, thus making 3 of our 4 consumables useless). So you can understand, that when somebody comes into our forums with the call to shoot our already lamed one-trick pony, we might get a little defensive. I'm sorry if you took any of my posts personal, as it is not our style to engage in such conduct here on our board. But I'm sure you can understand our frustration, and how it's begenning to rise to a boiling point.

Farky, Jered, thanks for the support. You to know as well as I what we have been through and I appreciate you explaining it to our BE friend just as well if not better than I could have myself. And Farky, it crossed my mind to let him lay there and cook, but seeing that it would have led to more /tells and probably a post on the Flurry boards I decided to just end it there and hope to never deal with him again.

Get some skills instead of spamming a flame DOT.

Ok, you were a commando for 2.5 months? Then you know our Flame specials dont hit very often in PvP unless we are up against someone with no ranged defense, or dodge/counterattack mods. Oh wait you were a TK too... hmm So let me guess, you spammed KD/dizzy , then hit them with the flame specials.. am I right? So thats what you consider skills? Or do you consider skills firing a RL at someone and missing, or trying to kite a melee with our LP that also misses and does weak damage in PvP. Oh wait, maybe using our HAR.. now thats skill. Grenades you say, as long as I dont incap myself first, then I got mad skills.

I was a commando/TK for a while also. So I know the tricks. Spamming flame DOTs?. Of course different situations call for different measures. But honestly you come to our boards and insult us and basically say that we should be nerfed further than we already are... thats just rude.

Again, what is this reference to this board being "yours"?

This is as much my board as it is "yours".

Tactics for people with no skills (a partial list):

- Unarmed Knockdown 2 / Flame Single 2 against non-pistoleers
- Unarmed Lunge / Dizzy Flame Single 2 against pistoleers
- Warcry / Unarmed Lunge / Dizzy / Flame Single 2 / Unarmed Hit 3 against kiting cowards
- Warcry / Unarmed Lunge/ Dizzy / Flame Single 2 / Unarmed Headhit against eyeshot spamming composite wearing bounty hunters.

The point is that flame single 2 is powerful enough as it is by itself. The ones complaining about the upcoming removal of multiple flame DOTs are the ones who cannot think for themselves and cannotformulate tactics other than spamming a flame DOTfive times, running away behind a wall, and coming back after the 4-5 DOTs has eaten away a person's HAM to 1. No skill. No thinking. Nothing but spamming the same overpowered special.

You say that the flamer misses a lot? At master commando I hardly ever missed. You must be one of those commando dabblers (0/0/4/0) who only took up commando to get the flame line so you could spam flame single over and over and over again. Here's a tip: if you stop moving a second before firing the flamer, your accuracy increases A LOT.

Your conclusion would be correct. Did I say I was a commando currently? What tipped you off to your conclusion? Could it have been my signature, Sherlock?
