then get an advanced laser rifle. its level 54 and anyone can fire it.
you can have one made that shoots faster, hits harder and has 38 points les SAC than the proton rifle.

and holding laser rifle defeat the purpos of being a jedi but i sometime see then uesing them in pvp.

The reason Jedi have them in PvP may be becouse they don't want to end up on the terms, even under the new rules.
And also, you "loose" the heavy weapon mods when you pick up a rifle, therefor you would have to get some parts of rifleman to compensate that.

the reson the i see jedi ues LR is when sometimes when in pvp it becomes a range war and melee and jedi can't do **** but heal if they got it. so they will pull out a rifle just to get a hit.

with just master commando you have more general ranged accuracy than you do heavy weapons accuracy.
the loss isnt that significant.
this leaves me to believe that the commando is meant to be able to be good with ANY ranged non certed weapon.
i use whatever weapon that is best for the situation at hand, if i need to hit 1 target hard at 65 meters, i use my laser rifle.
WHY? because i hit harder with it than my proton, i fire it faster than my proton and the low sac allows me to fire more high damage specials wich more than makes up for any loss in accuracy.
the loss that has, so far, been not in any way noticable in PVP or PVE.
my template is MBH/MCOM and some medic.
i have NO rifles... but that does not keep me from being very deadly WITH a rifle.
if you wish to artifically restrcit yourself as to what weapons you can use thats fine. but dont for a second pretend that there are no non-aoe commando weapons.
if it has a trigger and is non-class restricted, it IS a commando weapon.
