Actually I have all the skills and xp for commando. Hwoever, I still think that commando is tough to play. You actually have to get up close with the mob/other player. During that time my opponent can pump so many shots in me, I will be dead soon if already not dead.

I agree that it is difficult to play command, but again, there must be some play style to make it effective. I am not a commando, but my best buddy is. And he is very excited. We are a formidable team against PvE now - me from distance and he from close up Good times ahead for both of us hehe.

Disclaimer:it is neither a flame nor a nerf cry (my buddy is going to roast me with his flamethrower if I do so lol)

It took me 2-3 weeks to get novice commando.

Which class sounds harder to get?"

Actually a TKA is harder to get. Unarmed exp just like for commando is a pain to get early on. And to become novice they need 125k more over commandos.

And later just to survive tka requires another profession like a medic. They just cant do anything without it. So I would say TKA is way harder to get, and at the end TKA are the weakest hehe.

Gratz to Commandos... you deserve it. I look foward to seeing you guys completely own stuff. It makes the game more interesting.

To anyone screaming NERF.... you make me sick. Screaming Nerf is exactly why things ARE getting nerfed left and right. Im 2 boxes from Master Pistoleer... and after this last patch....im a complete gimp in combat now. Why? because for a very long time people kept screaming to nerf us. Now the Pistoleer is a completely broken class and in my opinion a complete waist of anyones time. Any true Pistoleer will tell you the same thing.

Anytime time ANY class gets nerfed... in the long run it hurts ALL classes. All classes should have at least one ability that makes them seem "overpowered". If not, whats the point of mastering any profession to begin with??

DO NOT NERF COMMANDOS!! Instead, how about we post and push to get new and improved skills foreach class.

Would all you NERF whiners like to see us all have at least 1 very powerfull skill? Or would you like to see every class equally worthless?? Because at the moment... worthless is where we are all headed.

Once again.. Gratz Commandos... its long overdue. I look forward to seeing you guys in action.

Well, my sympathies guys. Coming from the BH camp we know all about the whole flavour of the month club and the 'get nerfed' camp. Alot of this arises from ignorance I think. People see the huge damage numbers and automatically think that the profession is way overpowered. It is very overwhelming for the melee professions which I think need some fixes, but compared to the other combat professions commandos are hardly unbalanced - that 20m limit on using specials would definitely be the key there as other combat professions could potentially just stay out of that range and use their own specials to retaliate. Alot of folks don't realize this though - and hence the nerf cries. Here's hoping some awareness and education of the facts combats this annoying trend.

i am a bounty hunter and i like that commandos are now as powerful as they should be. All their weapons are that powerful they should do really high damage its great.

Congrats Commandos,

As a BH I can say that I deliberately decided to go the route of doing four trees of scout skills over doing one tree of unarmed. Well, I wanted to be a BH anyway from the start, but still, that influenced me NOT being a commando.

It's nice to have some partners in combat now that won't be complaining about us constantly :-)

Also nice to have a nerf whiner lightning rod too :-) Welcome to the world o' whiners, you guys are in the big leagues now :-)

That would be the basic pistoleers inferiority complex speaking there.

I'd rather be a Master Scout (which I could have gotten WHILE getting Master Marksman) any day than have Unarmed Specialist.

I know! So far (and I'm sure this is debateable) I've never seen a more worthless skill line then unarmed specialist. You simply cannot fight or hold your own with your bare knuckles and lack of Vk cert. I rather shoot point blank (in fact I do!) with a laser rifle and hope to hit once then go unarmed without the cert. That is actually more of a complaint of mine then how long it takes to be a commando. Though don't get me wrong, that IS a lot of work in itself.

At least the BHers get some useful skill trees that they have to master. I will admit trapping is probably not that great but man the exploration line is a staple skill that every combat profession should have. I wish they'd change the requirements from unarmed specialist to exploration for commandos. It would be so much better!

grats commandos, you needed this fix.

coming from a BH I fought a commando last night and it was a even fight, he won the 1st one because I stood there and didn't move out of his range. 2nd fight I keeped moveing and won, so now you guys are on the same playing field as a BH and thats were you should be. Don't listien to the pistolier/carbiner/riflemen that went the easy route and have a extra 147 skill points to spend on whatever they want. Were we have to master 2 starting profs before we even become effenicent.
