Napalm is a sticky glue, trust me. It´s not possible to use in a FT.

So the burn of napalm is something you have to imagine or use some grenades for

Unless you got the call airstrike or artillery skill.

"While variations to the working pressure were not such a problem finding the best fuel type took a considerable of experimental effort. The result was Geletrol which was formally accepted by the General Staff as fuel thickener in October 1944. It was made by combining various weights of the dried chemical compound Aluminium Oleate with petrol, diesel or a petrol‑diesel mix. The type of fuel used and the percentage mixture depended on the intended use."

Aluminum oleate is the aluminum soap of oleic acid, the guy that invented Napalm mistakenly thought he was using palmitic acid. I rigged my flamethrower to shoot flaming turds. It may not kill them, but it sure does piss them off.

It scares me when I know what you are talking about. lol

Did any of you see Critters? That sci-fi/horror flick that came out in the 80's? The alien hunter guys had guns that looked like our flamethrowers, and they didn't so much as shoot anything, as whatever they were targeted at exploded. I had nicknamed them "FX guns" as they fired a nanoscopic FX team that set up explosives in the target and then set them off flamboyantly.

This is what our flamethrowers do most of the time. Sometimes we get the ball-o-flame rushing towards the target, but more often it just blows up. And the flame shot isn't sticky, it's sometimes lights things on fire, but doesn't work anything like napalm. It's more like WD40 and a lighter. But considering the size of the tanks on the gun, it's gotta be highly flammable, like some kind of thruster fuel.

But as far as I'm concerned the flamethrowers shoot "FX".

Speak more of this "reality" while I look through my personal effects on my character: hmmm,5 pistols, 2 carbines, 3 rifles, 2 rocket launchers with 30 rockets each, a Heavy Particle Beam Cannon, a flamethrower, a heavy acid rifle, a lightning beam cannon, 3 crates of seperate types of grenades, 3 sets of clothing (desert, jungle, and my awe-inspiring "blue-suit") a crate of med packs, 4 crates of spices (i'm an addict, i know) 1 complete set of armor, mixed peices of other armor, 1500 lizard skins, 850 bird bones, random disks and effects, a stuffed bantha, and 5 melons (3 maroj) none of this in a backpack either (i look dashing in a bandolier) where does this go? does it bother anyone else that it looks like i'm pulling my flamethrower out of my ass?i'm a walking disaster waiting to happen (think Keanu Reeves going through the metal detector in Matrix) this is a game, it is very not realistic. if my concentrated stream of fire causes you to catch fire and not cause you to run around screaming like your testicles just dropped into acid...

lightsabers are theoretically possible, we just don't have the technology to make them happen yet.
