I see.....that still sounds very promising.

Let me ask you this then, as a fellow Master Commando/TKM, with all the fixes/tweaks coming our way, will it still be neccessary for a Commando to master a profession that gives him more defenses, or will a Commando be able to stand as a Pure Commando all on his own.

Or, is the aim of the Combat Upgrade to make one profession dependent on another, so as to encourage more group hunts?

I realize I am not as active in the forums as most people here, but from the posts that I have read from you, I feel to is safe to say that you do not exagerrate. It is good to hear that some much is going to improve for us. I have always thought that the Commando profession was one of the most interesting in SWG. I can't wait to see just how much better it will be after the balance. Gotta go sign up for beta now......thanks Garvin for all the info.

Commandos are slated for more defensive capabilities WITHIN the Commando profession...Dabbling will enhance us...but we will be getting boosted up on many levels to where most of us have always felt we should (which includes damage and defenses)...of course, all amounts are influx until we can balance them via Sandbox testing, so I can't really say what those numbers would be (even without the NDA)...

All I know is that our Profession, without any Dabbling other professionsincluded, is coming out with more then we had going in...not something every Combat profession can say, especially to the level of Commandos...

PLEEAASEEE let this not include rifleman's offensive capabilities.........Everyone seems to wants to see rifleman cut down to size, See that gunner tag above my head? until I die

From the sound of things (the way TH originally put it), if all goes well the Sandbox testing should start up in 2 or 3 weeks (I'm hoping for sooner)...Then about 3 weeks later they'll start adding Beta testers....So my guess is that folks will start getting their Beta invites Sometime late in December...It all seems to hinge on when they get the Alpha testing started...
