too much crack smoki, slow down. nuthin is set in stone yet they are still tweaking pretty much everything. your the one speculating, as they are no "hard" facts. how can anything be fact when it could in fact be changed tomorrow. Balance is what the CU is about, and if that means peeps lose millions on weapons, then so be it.

I am not sure if I am right with all of this as I have been just reading all of the posts (patching TC as we speak to try out some stuff) but isn't the CU to stop people from having 1.0 fire speeds and guns that can do MASSIVE amounts of dmg. And aren't the weapons on the frogs have damn amazing stats and are NOT what we are to expect on live, they are just to help us test stuff?

RocketLaunchers (make this one short)
they were from 1200-1587 min and 3600-4800 max 7.6 speed or lower (these depending on the slice they got)
After CU average 200min-400dmg around 2.4-2.7 speed i beleive
Grenades- Far as i've seen Imp detonators look very weak, but protons look great
Had I known when they were doing the last save on the server (April 7) for TC I would have included more weapons to get a bettter picture
Anyone able to tell me when the next save is?

Option to disassemble krayted weapons? That's INSANE - but would be very cool. Friend of mine owns several pistols made with +300 damage -1.0 speed krayt tissue. That's just wicked.

A disassemble option would be nice 'cause I am pretty sure that my 1.9s 938mx flamer is gonna take it pretty hard on the conversion while my 3.2s 1248mx will end up being the better of the two (6.5mil on that speed flamer down the tube), but I can deal with that if they fix the other issues etc. It stinks to lose out on a conversion because of the new stat ranges, but I expected some weapons to take it hard that were way out of the normal ranges.
As far as disassembling goes... it would be nice, however I wouldn't see that being all that likely with the extra issues it might create. Yeah, disassembling RIS is not as drastic because there is a much lower amount of that that would need to be broken down. Think about how many krayt weapons are out there total vs. RIS that could begin to cause some kinds of new conversion issues. I mean, alone, I have a large house that is full with my krayt/acklay/gorax/spiderfang weapons as an armory for when I need something. I am sure I there are many more people alone out there that have even more weapons that have been enhanced vs. the not so many who have RIS. If it happens, I'll be happy... if it doesn't, I won't be hurt though. It is an expensive change, but one that is needed to get some weapons back inline for everyone's benefit. (At least I got a friend through the spider clan cave in a hurry for his knight trials using that speed flamer... total chaos

Well my current krayt flamer is 500-937 dmg and 2.1 speed. So if im reading this right, it should be about 2.8 speed and 700-1300 damage in CU?

In case anyone was wondering. There currently is a thread concerning experimentation capping for damage and other modifiers. Also, someone said that they reached the cap with decent tissues on a combine. So, then you couldn't even further experiment damage. I am pretty ticked about this.

* Changed conversion table so that the top 5% of current weapons are in the 100 to 120% of crafting max range.
