Yes I actually tried MCommando TKM Swords 0044 for the armor break and head hit moves and melee bonuses. The armor break only lasts for about 30 seconds and you don't need to equip a sword just un-equip your heavy weapon. The problem is two fold. Either a you pick up 0044 in swords for a more advanced version of armor break and will mostly likly get it to stick. But then you have no specials with the heavy weapon to take advantge of it for yourself. The other option is get 0440 in carbs or two lines in any other profession and use the basic armor break in 4040 brawler. The basic is not as good and does not stick as easy. However if it does stick you can follow up with a nice special with your heavy weapon. I did the first and found the second one a better choice. I like to disarm turn on CoB hit them with an armor break then equip my PFT, use charged shot to KD them and follow it up with improved leg shot for some major damage. Also CoB continues to work even after you re-equip your heavy weapon giving you +500 defense for the duration. Oh and yes 30 seconds is long enough to equip a PFT KD and leg shot them. With other people in your group also attack that usually finished of you target, so find another and repeat. Also don't forget to powerboost before running in for that +500 health too.

yeah im a sl at the moment. paint target is the old volley fire i think that can bypass someones armour. No-where near as good as called shot though. i wouldnt respec to sl yet because i can guess that itll get nerfed just like the old concussion shot for smuggler.

I generally group with the same people all the time. In the core group we have a Master SL a MCM and Master Rifleman with 360 accuracy and trando rifle that is triple cappedand myself. Then the other 4 slots are filled with random people. We can generally tear through anything that get in front of us. The more and more I use this template the more little tricks I find I can do. For instance last night I took out the Blackscale Acid Launcher and started going crazy with the snares and KDs untill I ended up with about 10-15 aggros on me. At that point I simply put on some low SAC knucklers kept armor break and CoB going while the other fired off area at the mob. I tosseda few pupped protons with over 1800 damage. Was pretty fun the more I play this more I find that I can do whether it be huge area attacks, long range with proton of simply tanking. With knuckles on I have 300 defense, +500 CoB, +100 food, +120 SL defense buff getting me to 1020 defense. My damage is crap at that point but hey I am just tanking at that point. Plus with TK Innate armor I don't have to worry about my armor getting eaten up.
In all honesty who is really going to complete with a rifleman with a triple capped crafted trando for damage?

sounds like a great template, the more i hear about it.
btw, my character on eclipse has the last name of 'moonwalker' too. maybe we're cousins.

It is a great template but it is not an easy one to play. It definatly is not a point, click, spam best special type of template. You really need to play around with it and learn your strengths and weaknesses. The nice thing is there is valid tatic for every situation.
