i have yet to make commando but i agree that it needs a revamp

After thinking on this even more since my last post and re-scrutinizing the various professions and their skills plus what I've read about past revamps it seems to me that the reason that PVP battle is as it stands because the developers just have a paticular liking to the melee weapons and their professons. I can't see any other alternative espcially when you consider the fact that the heavier the weapon of choice becomes the more ineffectiveness it has in PVP. I'm not making this up look for yourselfs. It can't be argued that it just turned out like that because the skill enhancements and modiers are too specific which means they gave alot of thought to what they were doingand the current PVP situation is the way they want to keep it. To say "we'll theres a been modifications to some professions to make them stronger". Those changes never could never have undermined melee masters reign in SWG it only reallymakes them stronger against other ranged weapon professions. Even if some tacit melee defensive skills were given to some professions in some supposed revamp they were never to the levels that would make a difference too a melee master but it would make them more effective to the nextlevel in progession of weapons as they got heavier.After all that take intoconsideraton all the"hem hawing", evasive answers,requests forbreakdownsandsuggestionsto commando community leadersand then nothing isfollowed up. I think I have an idea where those skill breakdowns and requests that were submitted to the dev team went. The circuar file cabinet.Then theres thepromise ofcombat balancing but they only response by devs I've seen isgenerallyvague about what they have in mind for that combat balance. I don't know if any of the devs have characters they play but I'd be willing to bet thatif there are they all have melee based professions. I don't believethat anythingwill change and even if some revamp is done it will be a superfluous one. The powers that be like who the current king is and will not lethim be unseated. Hail to the king baby...

Yes a Revamp is most needed, just hope the whiny jedi dont manage to get our nades nerfed.

this profession has been borked from the start but I still love it. just wish we were a little more feared in pvp instead of being laughed at. droping in a few hits from just about every thing we go up against. I know when i think commando i think of a killing machine. Dev's please watch some good special ops movies and read some books on the subject to come up with some ideas. or drop me a line some time and we can talk things out.

We need this badly. Other professions think they have it bad.. but they just dont have a clue about us.... I especially get tired of hearing the smugglers saying how broken they are. I know they have a couple of probs (I used to play one) but they are MINOR and very few compared to us Commando's.
