I REALLY hope that the devs take this to heart as these are concerns of a community that pays for a service....that service is a subscription to star wars galaxies, and it is meant both to function correctly and be fun. that said.... both of those features are seriously lacking.

I came into this game as a noob and i will probably leave as a noob so my opinion may not count for much but I know that many folks from various professions are downright dissatified with the product they recieve. this is very bad business to say the least.

I personally have seen too many friends leave the game permanently because of boredom at lack of content or because they just want their professions to work right and they know that they never will. My wife in particular has been the biggest proponent of the"look on the bright side ethic" (she being a D.E.) Now she as well has lost her will to play as of the last patch.....the notoriously failed "Droid Invasion". It is truly sad for me to see.I have kept my commando skills but only by a thread because i want to believe in better things. i hope this gets through to the devs before it is too little, too late.

It's sad to say that Cosca's story sounds awfully common amongst us. Everything that people hope for is never given or ends up being something half of what its potential could have been.

It's sad to say aswell that both the service and content of this game lack incredibly and the fact that people STILL play is a miracle for the devs. But the devs stillmake false promises and over-hype new things that they put in ( most of which does nothing to the GCW , the thing I thought this game was actualy about. They proved me wrong on that one

)

This thread is on its 8th page, I think this needs a sticky. This is is a valid thread to be taken seriously by everyone. Over and over commando was on the losing battle between who gets the new weapons and improvements. Commando needs these changes the most out of any class, and in all honesty, I dont see how the devs havent given commando something by now.

They only give answer's like "Wait for the combat revamp". Well, we have been waiting for the combat revamp and quite frankly, its not going to change our position unless there are some serious changes. If there are any we would sure love to hear about it! No better way than to lose customers than to tell them everything is fine, wait a few months and when that time comes, the over all result is little to no improvement or changes commandos DO NOT want. Key word there devs.

And i agree...the devs have been saying that one liner for a very long time..and frankly its getting sickening..we are in preliminary changes..and they have YET (cept In concept..which to me doesnt count as it wasnt on these boards) done a discusssion on ideas/changes with POSITIVE feedback from the whole community or working with the corrspd. to get polls or votes out with this community

but thinking back to that in concept discussion...maybe we are SO bad in need of a overhaul they did that to give us choices..then will have the corrspd give us vote? I highly doubt it tho, as they prolly wouldve done it by now (also as we're now in pre-publish 8..and we were PROMISED GOOD FIXES/ETC in BOTH publishes 7 and 8..and if 8 doesnt have those...once again the devs lie - and with 7...basically nothing.."yay we get to use our HAR finally after 8 months of mods not stacking...but its still a lousy weapon"

Assault rifle is a pretty bad weapon for the commandos, since an assault rifle is pretty much a carbine. I think that adding a sorta SAW like weapon, machine gun that's animation would be a hail of fire, still adhere to the 1.0 speed cap, and have a wide range of damage(to compensate for the fact that you can't shoot a ton of small damage projectives every .5)
