I don't know if anyone has said this, but what about stun gloves, alot of other professions have a stun weapon, let us have a quest to get a schematic for stun gloves

I know a lot of people in the Commando community are looking forward to the CB. We all hope that it will take us to a place we havent seen since our FT DOT was turned down. Or at least viable in combat. To tell you the truth, I dont have that much to complain about our DOT being turned down. It sucked and I would like it back but that isnt where I get upset. I get upset when I see around10 different weapons sitting at my disposal. Every damage type in the game just waiting to be used and at my fingertips. Yet, 5 kill us (not from specials they actually kill us), another 5 are costly, slow, and low damage in comparison to other profs, and another has no armor piercing, slow, and low damage in comparison to its sister gun. That is what really frustrates me. People dont realize how little of our trees we actually use. What a waste...

now, what i think would be uberly cool is a tka battle robe or something similar like the karate outfit thingys as the image of a TKM in cmp spamming uh3 is kinda weird as comp wouldn't strike me as flexable but still a battle robe would be uber!

your are excatly right. yea they turned down the dot but increased the intial dam of the FT burst. that is fine even thou i liked the 3k dot dam right from the start. just have to stack now to get it high.

I have hear reports that the combat balance wont be out until next march anyway... So thats basically like saying, we might get to it some time. I wouldnt hold your breath, I have heard all kinds of hype about it but the truth is I dont think its gonna be as huge asd everyone thinks it will.

The only people that I think believe that it is going to be huge are the DEVs. Unfortunately they sorely underestimate the power of high expectations among the player-base. No matter how much they put into it, it probably wont be enough.

I have a bad feeling. I think they are going to post pon it for like months I mean probably next year. THen when it comes out Its going to be a total flop. Aned then when they see a loss of like 100-300k a month or what not there going to be Egads what is going on. And maybe when they have to let go of all there programers but one they will realize. I love star wars but im getting to hate the galaxy hehe

Master Commando is now the tag I see least often. I have no great hope that the combat balance will done anything but Nerf all the combat classes into oblivion. I have lost all faith in SOE.

I know how you feel. I am really trying to keep my hopes up, but like you I truly believe the combat balance is just a huge nerf to all the professions. I have said it once and I will say it again, the DEVs are tired of us slaughtering Krayts and even the smallest red mob solo. It will happen, just wait and see.

"Wait for the CB" is a miserable fob-off.


Tell us WHEN. Although I suspect SOE of not daring to give a ball-park at the moment - it could be quite a wait and there is no real reason for players to be patient.


Fixing broken game mechanics and making the game more fun for the VAST proportion of players surely has to be more important than a two publish (thats what....10 weeks? 12? more?) worth of Jedi publishes (after all, anyone can have a go at Carbineer, BH, Commando or whatever...but not everyone can or is willing to make the commitment to play Jedi)

I have been doing Teras Kasi Artist for quite some time now, almost mastering it. But there are a few things I'd like to point out.


Teras Kasi is a form of Martial Arts as I see it, most IRL Martial Arts have throws, special kicks, punches, blocks (I'm somewhat repeating a few requests) thats all cool if you want to spice up the moves! Please do.


First I'd like the meditate become a bit more potential (likeI read before powerboost time a bit longer), you can heal wounds, but why not battle fatigue? You achieve inner rest, it is relaxing to meditate. It just doesn't make sense you cannot heal your battle fatigue using meditate.


Second, I miss the special Martial Arts weapons, The katana, Wakizashi, the nunchaku (2 sticks conected with a chain)

and some kind of knife (don't recall the name, but i do know Raphael uses it forn the ninja turtles haha ok back to the present)


Third, as many of you told give us something else than kinetic please, maybe give us slightly force powers, not to much but just be "mystic" if you mastered it, you can use your own "chi" as we martial artists call it. And don't forget 1 thing. Focus, Concentration, speed and reflexes are our main specialties, after that strength comes in. Speed comes forward in the game, but the others not really. Perhaps you should limit the powerboost to Mind - focus - Willpower boost? That way you show that you are more focused, and THAT is the reason to meditate.


Well please tell me what you as community or as Developer think about this all.

I've been TKM for almost the entire year SWG has been out. One of the funnest things with TKM is fighting unarmored other TKM. I honestly don't have time to read 5 pages of suggestions (probably some great ones) this late so my apologies if this was suggested.

How about a dojo type building that TKMs can plop down? Some abilities of this dojo would maybe be

-once incapped you have a couple of seconds before getting right back up (sparring purposes)
-everyone in the dojo is attackable ( free for all anyone? )
-your meditate mod increases (longer Power Boost, fast/more wound healing?)
-maybe have an NPC spawn NPCs only one person can fight and spawn progressivly harder enemies as you defeat them

That's all I can think of for now.

not that bothered about new moves, we've got prtety much every status affliction in the book, just a different type of damage is what i yearn for.


and the ability to change the colour of our ribbons. ooh yes
