Thread: I pwned a TKM

i was outside a weapons shop on eclipse waiting for a tef to go away and an overt reb walked out on a spice downer. i figured my tef would be gone by the time his downer dropped and i would be safe, but no. he hit a brandy or something because his mind shot through the roof and he attacked me. so i did what every commando would do when hit by a TKM, i ran like a chicken with his head cut off shootingbehind me. i noticed i was actually hitting him so i poped a stim and took a flame single 2 to him. by some mericle it stuck. then i ran around a little more and let the DOT take his action down some, but he healed it as soon as i hit him with another flame single 2. this time it hit his mind. so, once again i ran in circles unable to get away from this tool and i popped another stim b and threw out one more flame single 2. i couldn't believe my luck, 3 hits in a row with it. this one hit his mind a second time and he went down. a quick DB and he was through.


then the /tell war started

/him y did u run like a nooby coward?

/me you expect me to stand still for a TKM?

/me you should have known better than to expect that.

/him just wait until my guild flys out here, then you will be pwned!

/me in 3 minutes my tef is gone, i will wait for them.

if you are jedi and you complain, i have one question for you. how many remember permadeth, kenetic damage lightsabers, and lightsaber TEFs?

Aww man...thats no fun, thats playing clean with them. Now me, its a totally different story...I 1-shot-kill fully buffed TKM's wearing composite, but I don't let them hit first. Whenever I see an overt Imp in Anchorhead sit down to meditate, I pop overt andnail them. There must be a like 4x multiplier when they're meditating, cause I've landed for a good 2000 damage after reduction.


Another time I got a TEF while running FP missions and an overt TKM walked up to me and started punching me. Got me KD/dizzied instantly, but, to my surprise, he suddenly fell down incapped. Not a soul in sight, as far as I can figure he incapped himself.

Anyways...the original story teaches a lesson here....people who have the power to dominate PvP and really destroy classes that are broken...like commando...they tend to get spoiled. That guy is a great example...spoiled to the point where he acts like "You stand still while I KD/Dizzy you, then you die...cuz Im better than you"....Good work in breaking him.


The only commando ive ever seen that was ever spoiled is a friend of a friend of mine on Valcyn...even NOW, he's trying to show off to that friend..saying he's better cuz he's a commando..and can solo 3 AT-STs at once...either he has some imagination...or is crazy! hehe


Btw my defination of spoiled is different from some may think...think more along the lines of getting ease and power to the point where you feel you are superior over another, and actually complain/whine/show-off as a result...

Always nice to hear when one of us actually did some good and took out another player. To bad the other player had to be such a sore loser about it all. If you don't want to be killed then don't bother taking on people in PVP. And no offense to the guy, but I wouldn't stand around and wait on the TKM either. What was he thinking?

It's those type of reactions that I wish people could be banned for playing PvP...A Commando has to use any tactic he can, and when fighting a TKM, distance is a key tactic...you did everything perfectly in my book...


He initiated the fight...he lost...he whined about it...


What really gets me is that this sounds like the same typical type of griefer...They go around taking out Commando after Commando until one finally beats them...then they whine complain and eventually come to the forums to explain why Commandos need to be NERF'd and tell us all how over-powered we are...I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see this person making a NERF post sometime soon...


Anyway...congrats and keep up the good work...you handled yourself during and after the fight exceptionally...You make a Commando Correspondent Proud....

Aww thats ok dont let that TKM get to ya. Same with me I think you did everything good. Besides commandoes are supposed to be able to survive the toughest challenges by any means possible. The way of the commando lol.

TKM's are easy when fighting 1 on 1, but when you are in a large scale engagement its a bit different. I just constantly move and keep my distance at about 13-14m, and a few shots later they are down. When fighting other profs i usually eat a synthesteak, 2 brandy, a muon and a canape, this usually keeps me alive long enough to bleed them and follow up with a few flame singles and after that they are usually gone, unless they are defense stackers, and cannot be hit. My other suggestion is to get a good LP, atm mine does 321 dam with no power up. The key to making a good LP is gorax bones ( near impossible to get) and spider fangs, usually found at the geo lab. Having pistol skills has saved me many times, and it definately comes in handy when fighting something with low blast resists. And i dont think i need to coment on the HAR, it speaks for its self.

Like Garvin I believe I am a MC/TKM combo although I keep the commando tag up whats funny is If another TKM starts with me I will kite for a bit try to get a burn on. If I can't ill drop the ft head in kd2 then burn the sucker. And when there lying there thinking about it I will even spray um with the poop im mean acid shooter just for kicks. But always nice to hear about a commando pvp victory theres hope for us yet.

On a side note: I finally started using the RL's wow its funny to be sitting 50m out let one fly 1 hit incap and it circles like a sidewinder on the way in way too funny. I bought a crate of 5 32 use rl's each. got them sliced and they do upwards of 4k dam. And to think I have been a commando for 7 months now and i"m just now using this stuff. &)

My favorite is when a master brawler, master tka, master fencer gets muon downer in fight and u hit mind. Thats when you get the real whining

Good job. HAte newbs that have to cry when they get pwned and then have to call there guild to fight there battles.



Doing months of questing so i can have the skills i want for jedi and in a sad way i like it.
