Ok folks, I've heard that some DoT's are no longer causing damage after today's maintaince,
Has anyone noticed anything funky like this with our flamer/lightning beam cannon fire DoTs? If not, can I get a few folks to test this out in-game and confirm whether or whether not it is working?

I kid you not, supposedly the CM Fire DoT isn't working (from what I've heard along with other DoTs)...the Dev's are looking into it. Making sure nothing's wrong with ours as we already have important innate features broken, we don't need anymore corpses.

I just tested it. Here's what I found....
The Fire DoT sticks just fine from the Flamethrower and the Lightning Beam Cannon.
But.... it does no damage whatsoever. It also does not go away. I timed 3 minutes on an enemy mob that I set on fire, no damage and the fire never wore off (then I got tired of taking shots for no reason and burned his head off
).
I've also heard reports from friends that the Fire DoT from NPC's is not doing damage and also lasts forever. Someone got burned by a Rebel Commando NPC using a Flamethrower, 15 minutes later the fire was still going.
So I would guess that its happening to all Fire DoT's, not just Commando weapons. Anyone have a Combat Medic friend who can test their Fire?

Yep those are the symptoms. I wanted to know if it was affecting our stuff, as it's currently affect nearly every DoT out there (save for one I think...not sure). Thanks Electro!

Could be, but we have a better chance that this will be fixed as it seems -all- DoT's aren't working.
At anyrate, the devs are 2 for 2 in regards to our built-in "features". Goes to show that if anything happens to either or both, our damage dealing will (and has) go down the chute pretty fast...almost sad since we're supposed to be a fairly robust profession...
Ahh well, Im just rambling. Sent this in, lets pray it gets fixed.

Tested this with:
Plasma Flamer
Flamer "Lite"
Heavy Lightning Beam Cannon
No DoTs.
The icon shows up, and the person gets the fire animation, but no tic.
Further, no CM dots are working. Not fire. Not poison.
Bleed shot/TorsoShotdoesnt even tic.
Apparently, ALL DoTs are broken, which gives us some optomism it will get fixed. After all, they HAVE to fix Commando DoTs when they fix CM DoTs, and other DoTs, right?
Right?
right?

Hey I noticed as well that our fire dots are not working, this is a huge concern to me because I have only three damaging attacks to choose from and my fire DOT can make all the difference. Grenades are still borked too, they do almost no damage and effects need to last for at least 20 seconds.

Any news / updates on this issue? I've been busy and haven't been able to log in since Wednesday. If this doesn't get fixed... I guess I'll have no reason to log in over the weekend, either.

Take a shuttle. That cures it. Seriously.
