Thread: Hard Core, Old School Commando's... why not move to one server and play together?

You gotta admit... Master Commandos are now so rare its like seeing a jedi master without a gank squad.



So why not move all of us to one server and band together, make a fun guild and set fire to the server?



I'd vote for Bria since the server has very active PVP and a very fluid economy as well as very big and faction dedicated guilds to fight alongside with.



If I can get 20 people to move to Bria and form a commando guild i'll get a 2nd account to be armorsmith/wepsmith and put my 2 master commandotoons of bria in that guild(master commando/jedi, master commando/smuggler/pistoleer/doctor).



So... who's interested?

My only problem with that is I would lose all that I worked for. All my armor, all my money, my reputation, my flamethrowers, my trophies, my KSE Firespray, my X Wing, my scatter pistols, my CA's, my AA's, my meds, my foods, my spices, my flightsuits, my backpack, my faction bases, and my ubese shirts. Basicly, all my wealth.


Now if you all came to Ahazi, I would supply you to the best of my ability. I have tried to make a commando guild before, but there are not enough.

you dont need to lose anything. Just make a new char in bria. we'll hook you up.



We can make it like a 1 day a weekend where we all gather and play in the bria server.



Its not like its hard mastering things nowadays. I'd supply the armor (oh yes i even got the armor 'uniform' planned and all) and i know many excellent wepsmiths.

Nah, briahas a lotof flamers and leets, not my idea of an ideal server.

How bout Starsider? There's a very active PvP community and a lot of non-leet/griefers. And it has the largest Roleplaying community of any server.

Will this be a factional guild? Or neutral? I don't like those Hybrid guilds that have both Rebel and Imperial players because there's no clear enemy. Give me an enemy and I'll fight him/her.

Agreed. I'd be interested, but this is going to be a big part of the decision for some people.

Depends on how space activity is. It's almost completely empty on corbantis. If I ever started up another character I'd want it to be on a server where space is thriving, so Starsider sounds like it might be a nice choice (at least, from what I hear on the pilot forums).

I really like this idea! in fact, im all for it hands down.


im already a master commando on bria, with a million or so credits to my name, but i have access to master weapons/armorsmiths, master shipwrights and architects (my alt), and more resources than you can shake a spraystick at. you give me a location and some lots, and i will build you a city, and arm it too.


besides, bria is a good server choice due to its previous existance as the beta server. if the devs pay attention to anything, its always bria that they look at they even take their economic models from bria. so really, we would reach the most people, if we were so inclined.


on the other hand, we might consider picking a server that NOONE has a character on. we all start from scratch, and build a great commando society ouf of nothing. im just as willing to participate in that one.

Actually i was thinking of making the guild a neutral guild.



Before you explode (*snicker*) here's why: We can play either side. Big pvp about to happen? we find which side needs fighters and just join it. Next day it might be the other faction that needs combatants. The whole point is to have fun. Rebel/Imperial it doesnt matter really.



I was thinking of making the guild to the likeness of the Red Moons (mercenary group of the expanded universe novels). In bria i assure you that we can get guilds to even PAY us to boost their firepower in pvp events. Especially if we can make the guild to be truly effective.

This is a very intriguing idea. Depending on how this shapes up I would be willing to start up a new commando on Bria. Especialy if I got to play with other commandos. Never have gotten to do that before, and I have had a commando for sometime. As for faction or neutral does not matter to me. I can play either side or neutral.


I do not mind starting from scratch as long as there are others to play with.
