In the cybernetics article on the main SW page, if you look at the picture of the woman standing in the medlab with a droid arm, it sure as heck looks like she is wearing a clone trooper chest piece, ARC trooper actually. Any thoughts on this?

I'm sorry maybe I missed something what is an Imperial clone?
I know republic clone armor.
And Imperial Clonetrooper armor
but what is Imperial clone armor.

Seriah-EH was wearing a full set when we bashed up Huurtons in the warren earlier on today/yesterday.

I got a screen shot from a bud with him wearing full clone armour, it looks sweet (not as good as the clone armour from republic commando though) but the red was very wishy washy and would look better if it was darker.

Onari could you post a link to that screenshot?
And is there going to be rebel republic clone trooper armour?
Because I RP a REPUBLIC clone trooper fresh out of deepfreeze, just like they kept the clone commandos. It would be rather tricky for me to play the part of someone bred to follow Jedi's orders, hunting down and killing Jedi. You know?
I would think it would make more sense to put clone trooper armour to the rebellions side simply because of all the things the troopers were programmed to follow in regards to standards and orders and such all of which contradict the goals of the Empire.

If I'm right...

First there were Clonetroopers. Which are Clones of Jango Fett. The Clones actually belong to a unknown or dead Jedi Master, but came under command of Yoda. Sine the Repulbic needed an army most of them were given to the command of Chancellor Palpatine. The original armor was somewhat bas for humanoids, cause the kaminos weren't experts on humans. Much of the armor design was based off Jangos Armor. Thus they a body glove which lets them survive in oxygen-less enviroments. Helmet helps filter stuff and I believe they have oxygen. The kaminos had about 25 Million Clone Troopers at the start of the war or close to that number. It takes awhile to make and train clones ya know. Actually I believe they can only make a million a year so it's by no means an endless supply.

So the seperatists had a big advantage since they could just make thousands a day. But Clonetroopers make for far better soliders. Even Super Battle Droids weren't quite a match
for them or were at least even. And the Seperatists couldn't make quite as many SBDs. Plus there were elite groups of Clonetroopers too like ARC Troopers and the Republic Commando Squads.

Anyways our friend Palpatine slowly secured power and the Clonetrooper desgin changed somewhat to become more effective, almost modern day Stormtroopers. Also at this time the Clonetrooper Army would be getting low so the war would become very critical around Episode III, but the seperatists were also suffering so they especially would be desperate.


Remember the war is all about wiping out the Jedi. Count Dooku for the most part was being used as a tool by Darth Sidious (Palpatine) to create the way. Palpatine I imagine didn't plan on him living and really wanted Anakin to be his apprentice due to his powers.

So the Republic wins, most of the Clonetroopers are gone at this point. Jango the original source is dead too so that also made a difference. Thus Palpatine calls on the human race to take up for the Republic Army. This is the begining of Stormtroopers which became the last development of the armor. Palpatine points the finger then at aliens for trying to destroy the Republic and convinces folks Jedi are evil too.

Thus the Empire is born. The Emperor then begins destroying and hiding that which remains of the corrupt Republic and Jedi. So anyone Lukes age doesn't know much cause anything detailing the events is pretty much gone. Only those around the time could remember and most kept silent out of fear and many humans jumped aboard the Empire express.

Any Clonetroopers remaining at the end of the war would've have been sent on suicide missions cause the are too much evidence or a reminder of the past and the Jedi order. Plus by Episode 4 they would be about 50 years old assuming they aged normally after accelerated growth, but they probably age faster then normal even when adults so any surviver would be really old. Basically the Clonetroopers according to the point of time were in should be dead. If there were any remainders they were probably fitted as normal Stormtroopers, but I doubt this since the Emperor banned cloning, save himself.

Good old Palpy doesn't die at the end of of Episode 6 but comes back two times, but basically gets killed by Luke both times rather quickly. Without the Emperor the Empire becomes a mess. The Empire did continue for a couple years under the command of several higher ups which often led to squabbles and fights between the Remanant. Only when the Emporer came back did the Empire become a threat, they actually almost defeated the Alliance now the New Republic, with new powerful weapons.

The Empire took a great deal of time to give up because during the reign of the Emperor turned many planets were turned into fortresses with superb defenses which took the Republic a long time to take out. In fact some never fell, but rather gave up at some point.

Only a few warloads actually proved a threat to the New Republic, Admiral Daala and Grand Admiral Thrawn.

Thrawn I think was one of the best because he was smart and developed new technologies. At this point the Empire is losing and low on troops. So Thrawn figures out how to quick clone humans. And thus he takes one of the better remaining Stormtroopers and mass clones him. With this method he is able to clone thousands of Stromtroopers in no time. This is the last time any Clonetroopers exsist and the only time there were any Stormtroopers as clones.

All Stormtroopers were human males conscripted to become their main infantry source. Some did join out of free will mostly due to propaganda.

And there you have it. I guess at this point Clonetrooper armor can still exsist because the armor is made up of a material very resistant to decay. Stormtrooper can be found amongst bones in good condition decades after battles.

During the Emperor's reign many alien species were wiped out and or forced into slavery. Many worlds became wastelands. Rebels were deemed crazy by many cause the Empire was massive. Each Star Destroyer carries 10,000 Stormtroopers. Each Death Star had a million Stormtroopers. There were literally hundreds of millions of Stormtroopers. Also remember 4 Star Destroyers are capable of taking over fully developed resistant worlds. Star Destroyers can easily bombard a planet and they have many AT-ATs and so on.

The Emperor when he lost the Death Star wasn't mad of the loss of troops or materials, but mostly losing something thought to be the ultimate war weapon of all time, which it basically was.

Had the second one been completed, destruction of it would be impossible and the Empire would basically rule the galaxy forever.

Oh yeah and the Red Guard was created by the Emperor before the Clone Wars to protect. Slowly the went from the Blue honorable guys to the menacing Royal Guard. Some Royal Guards were just the top Stormtroopers, but each one was personally trained by Palpatine. They were 100% loyal and some were given force powers. A good number of the best ones were turned into strange carnations losing most of their humaness and actually somewhat became part droid and guarded the Emperor's Cloning Facility.
