I still find it ridiculous that the high end mobs give me barely over 2k xp per kill. Are the devs going to re-adjust this?

Doubtful. We have never gotten a good explination (or any for that matter), but my best guess for why it exits is that we can take down mid level mobs faster (capable of 1 shotting at flame 4) than other professions (quenkers for example), and if we got full experience it would be too easy to master commando.

The flaw to that is that even if Commando was easy to master, why would you? I have becasue I refuse to give up hope, but what practicle reason is there for mastering it?

I'd have to agree with the part about 1 shotting quenkers and such, and I believe atleast before our dot's were lowered and the way xp for dots worked people doing the "stack dots then run away/feign death" with one more shot for the kill and full xp on really big stuff like krayts xp came to fast.

Yeah, but that didn't really apply to the ft dot since it caused intial damage + dot, unlike other attacks like healthshot which allowed you to do this.

Where you can't get the EXP in a large amount per kill, make up for it volume. Round up about 30 rebels from a factional base, run around them in circles, and flame cone them all. 30 times 1K is pretty decent. It's fast and the Faction is decent. Loot....fun for the whole family.

I agree with the above post ++. I have found flameCone1 on any mod to bring nice XP due to the fact that it takes one shot to kill xxx. I did 10 earlier today with one shot

i think they should fix this, i do understand what u are saying tho about us killing more for less. but its just kinda depressing to kill a krayt and get the same xp for killing a quenker ya know? besides loot theres no real incentive to kill higher level mobs.

very phat loot : ). but seriously i'd like 2 get the 5k xp like my other friends after a krayt hunt, as well as more phat loot.

It would onlybe fair. Was that instituted way back when Commandos were the flavor of the week and we did serious damage with everything? So, to try to keep us from soaking up all the xp they instituted the cap? Is my thinking correct? If it's something like that, then they really need to remove the cap, because we're not a spicy new flavor anymore-we're rotting left overs in the bottom, rear shelf of the fridge where no one can see us.
