I was thinking of maybe going twikek or however you spell it, they seem like they can be good at shooting and be a good medic? what do you guys think, also what are some good stats?

I chose zabrak, although I am not so sure it was a great choice. Probably human would have been better. However the innate defenses might help .. someday. Also the /equilibrium commandhas helped. The biggest drawback to zabrak is the fact that 700 points of stats are tied up in willpower. While this can be a good thing, the problem is a lack of defense for commando. This lack of defense, combined with low HAM use on our flame throwers creates a need for armor.

Armor and commando is a good match, but with the HAM points tied up in willpower, it can be tough to get your secondary stats high enough to wear good armor like composite. In order to do so I have had to use a complete set of encumberance sliced composite. This is fine, but it makes me think that maybe another race, one like human where the secondaries can be more easily increased through stat migration, might be a better choice. Since then one could wear effectiveness sliced armor and get better protection.

I agree with you maybe I will make human. Just I teamed up with a few kickass twi kek or however you spell it commandos. I plan on wearing armor instead of having strengh and stuff and having more HAM.

Works out pretty well, after slicing my armor I can even get a full suit of composite on now hehe. Thats the only real thing I had a problem with, other than that its really about how you play and what you want your character to do as to what race/stats you give him.

Honestly its a tie between human and zabrak. zabrak have a much needed defence and equilibrium that is really a life saver in pvp if you get jumped. Humans just have all around stats that is a good balance. The only bad thing about the other race twik'lik or however its spelt is the innate abilitys do not apply as well as humans and zabrak do in this feild of general combat, but hey its your choice. They can all wear armor and you can adjust the stats to however they work best for you. If you are planning on goin to imperial faction take human.

but ima zabrak rebeland im pleased with my race, and current mix between commando/tka.

I have a zabrak already almost to pistol level 4 and he has CH my friends made commandos and they are insane so I'm thinking of dropping my CH and making a commando so thanks guys il just stick with my Zabrak

Love my trandoshan commando, not upset I went this way at all. Rarely die in pvp too.

Zabrak is the best race in the game for any profession. The only reason to pick another race is for role playing reasons. Zabraks have really nice mind stats and the best ability in the game by far. They also get dizzy resist i believe. Compare that to humans who get a big nothing

Honestly I have to agree that overall the Zabrak is the best race. My only complaint has been the trouble with several of the secondary stats being resistricted to a max of 400 while my willpower is restricted to a min of 700. This has made my quest to get a set of good composite extremely difficult on my server. I can wear composite that has up to 39% resists, however beyond that I must get very lucky with my slices to get my encumberance down to where I can put a full suit on without buffs. I like to macro my armor and it is much easier to accomplish if I can wear armor unbuffed.

Yes i agree with zabraks being the best...The mind and the max low stats pretty much blow,,i had to buy 3

full sets of my composite 47% res to get a almost perfect slice encumbrace wise to wear a full set....full set

zabraks are great for commando..my friend is one. Ima wookiee commando and im doing fine. I take some good damage though. I just use shield generators-they help out some

Us wookie commandos are definitely at a disadvantage, no question about it. I'm hoping the devs give us some type of protection from a cloak or something.

humans dont get anything really specials since we're the most customizable!

for me, im a human - i have 1,000 hp ham, 990 action ham, 700 (somewhere around this #) mind ham

in addition i have 450 con, upper 400s of stamina, and 410 or 420 willpower - so i got pretty fast regeneration of the hams

however, my strength/speed/etc are fairly average (better than some species tho!) so i cant wear lots of armour
