Thread: Stats of your Proton rifle

Noticed something the other day, after getting myself quite a few Corellian Destroyers. they had different stats.
My best one, has "near" 300 DPS, while one of the others, had 150 DPS. Min/max was where the difference was mostly.
Considering I looted these off of the same level mobs, I was thinking, perhaps the proton rifle drops that way too?
So post your stats, unsliced/sliced.

All grievous drop weapons are identical to every other of the same type of weapon. So all proton rifles have the exact same stats until sliced and/or puped.

Finally got mine on our 13th run...ironically I wasnt there to loot it heh!
Its stats are, actually very impressive, the -only- qualm we have about it really is the SAC. Considering the Proton Carbine and other grevious weapons have very VERY low SAC given the damage/speed/extra mods, the Proton Rifle is really high...
Btw my best shot so far was 2,356 damage with improved legshot...20 points higher than my best with my PFT lol

Totally sure about that Joken?
See, I've seen 2 Dawnsorrow rifles, drops off of Necrosis, and they have different stats too..

They all have different stats. I have 2 that are different and are unscliced.

Every single proton rifle I've ever seen has 270.7 dps, including mine. As far as I know, they're identical.

i didnt want to start a new thread to ask this and i thought this would be a good place. how do u get a proton rifle?

It took me over 20 kills to get my first one, which was pre-fix, and still doesn't work. Fortunately, my group apparently moves far faster than Stern's, because we were able to get about 5-7 kills in a night, or about once ever 30 minutes.

Me and a criminal(Jedi) on Chimmy is doing it, us two. We've tried 3 man, 4 man and 5 man groups..Necrosis level increase too fast for a "normal" team of casual players to follow up. The 5 man team, could barely negate his regen..And he could kill us in 1.5 hits..
My two man team..Me'an the jedi, pwnz0rz Necrosis every time. It's teh dang run to his room that wipes out my precious ST armor..sadly.

Now that it was mentioned, there is a fluctuation in stats between Proton Rifles.
On Ahazi, I usually can search and find on the vendors nearly a page full of on-sale Proton Rifles.
The stats fluctuate, but only by very little. Maybe +/- 10 pts on damage, for example.
I guess it's sort of like the Nym's Slugthrower. They usually come out bad, but on occasion, you get rewarded with a kick*** one like I did (ADK'd it too).
But of course, the Nym's Slugthrower is awarded very frequently while the Proton Rifle is real tough to get. The chances of seeing someone appear with a nice Slugthrower is better than seeing some sort of near-legendary Proton Rifle.

Yeah there is a flucuation in proton rifle stats as if Joken's proton rifles were 270 DPS, mine's 278 DPS...so, changes, but minor...
