What type of grenades do you want WS's to make for you in bulk? Either for the FS grind or PVP or whatever. What are the best grenades?

I am using Imperial Detonator's currently. I would like to get some Proton grenades, can't find any though. Thermo Detonators are #2 on my list though.

Thanks for the info. Is there a reason Proton are better for you? More damage? Easier, faster?

Protons! They have the most damage; I've seen unsliced proton grenades that can do 3,400+ damage.
Unforunately, most of the damage goes to us than our targets.

Lol yea when you make them do us a favor and increase the range on them for us. When making grenades focus on-
1. Range/accuracy
2. Speed
3. Damage

It definitely helps when the best range mod is OUTSIDE the blast radius of said grenade.

Protons are okay, good damage, but no AP hurts them. I prefer thermal detonators myself, especially against jedi. That AP tears through their robes. An unbuffed jedi of any skill level can be incapped by a single thermal detonator if it hits for good damage. Plus saber block doesn't block grenades.
But anyway, protons, thermals, and imperials are the only grenades I use as commando.
As far as experimentation goes, range/accuracy is primary. I'd throw the rest into damage after that though.

Protons have Light AP.
I think that the grenade needed depends on the commando, and the Target.
Thermals and Imperials are Blast, Protons are Heat.
Protons aren't Certed til Master. Thermals are better than Imperials (medium AP vs. Light).
So, in my case, I make all of'em, and try to keep up with demand.

Maggie on Infinity makes the best grenades i've ever seen.. both for PVP and PVE uses... and she is a commando only WS too
which is nice... and means she puts all her efforts into us commandos

Actually AP is no use against jedis since they have no AR and count as vulnerable/unarmored=No bonus for AP > AR
For Jedi hunting Imp detonator or Proton is probably best, for combat against armored targets Thermals. For grinding combat XP I think C22s is a good choice since they usually cost less than high-end grenades (I am selling C22 for 16k/crate and Thermals/Imp for 30k, Protones for 50k) and still have decent damage. Speed is better for C22 as well if I remember stats correct.

cryobans, because they look pretty
other then that I usually packProtons (when I can find them)and Imperials, but nothing takes out a jedi like a nice bomb droid.
