When it comes to the Carbines, I like the "Proton Carbine". We should have it because we already have proton weapons, although they are only really usefull for suicide. Secondly it looks cool.

I would argue with for the proton rifle, becuase the massasi ink rifle doesn't look like a commando weapon, more like that old muzzleloading caplock that you keep around becuase i does have its uses. I want the alliance needler carbine as well, becuase it gives a pure ranged commando access to a good source of kinetic damage, (It says that it fires projectiles, but it could end up being like Nym's slugthrower) in that case, I still want the underslung carbine. The pistols was a toughie, but I ended up picking the jawa ion pistol because pistoleers already have a stun weapon. For the blast knucklers, I still want a big bad ka-bar look alike.

Better yet, a heavy machine gun certed at master that fires proton grenades say 128 m once per second

The massasi is interesting....sort of looks like a big bayonet on the front of it. Hmmmm.....a melee range weapon for commandos to use Unarmed 4....that ALSO shoots from long range!
