Think about it, is the launcher pistol listed as a heavy weapon, or a pistol? They didn't list anything but the name and weapon CLASS, not the professions they will be in. I myself am hoping on an unrevealed repeating carbine, the proton rifle, and the blaster-fists, since those make perfect sense with our profession.

The launcher pistol is classed as a heavy weapon. All our weapons are classed as heavy weapons not as pistols or rifles. In fact our weapons are classed as "SPECIAL heavy weapons".

Remember...this is only Part I...Commandos are getting a new weapon (at least one)...I can't really say more...remember also that there are weapons in game that aren't cert'd to anyone currently...so maybe we might be getting one of those as well...who knows...

Of course there's no Heavy Weps. They are getting rid of Commando, at least that's my skew'd take on it. Through the processo fo elimination, the Dev's are using various tactics to break all Commando's will's and backs.

This Part I FF is just showing off SOME of the new weapons...a TON of melee weapons are missing as well as ranged weapons from what's been shown...hopefully we'll see Part II today, but maybe that's being saved for next week...I hope to hear more soon....
I know this part 1 BUT it seems every time they come out with something they forget the commanodos. This is just like the Loot Revamp, They forgot to say that we would get skill enhancements just like everyone else until we brought it up.
When they were putting this together, it seems to me that someone should have said, when looking at the final product, "What About heavy weapons? Should we not show at least one?"

All weapons shown so far, exist in the .tre files of the game.
So far, I have yet to find any heavy weapons in the .tre files.
But then again, thebiggest gift they could give us "flamer users for 2 years", are a upgrade of our launchers and nades..so that we can actually find some, without bribing a smith..or kill ourselves while missing with nades.
I feel like crying for not seeing any hints of heavy weapons yet, but I know, that the best the devs could give us, is fixing commando.

Personally, I am glad they are waiting on Commando stuff....
Why?
Because what people see first is what they tend to remember, and get excited about the most.
I am more than happy to let Commando fly under the radar for the time being.
I dont want us being a FOTM.

dual wielding = Me Commando Pistoleer and Smuggler
Non dual = Smuggler, Commando Carbineer
plain Heavy Weaps for Commanos = M smugg M commando
wow.. i loved smuggler, but..commando..is just to dang good
